Desperate for Fussy eating advice age 4. How do I get him to try new foods?
DESPERATE: How do I get my 4 year old very fussy eater to try new foods?
I would also love to know if he will be deficient just eating these foods which is his staple diet over the week.
I have run out of ideas and he starts school in September where I will pay for school dinners just to try and get him to eat what other children eat.
This has been going on since he was just 2 years old after he had gastroenteritis. After that he stopped eating any cooked food and will not try anything out of his safe zone. When I went to the Dr at the time she said just give him what he will eat, he'll grow out of it.
Well, here we are over 2 years later and after trying every option I know even not giving him food if he doesn't eat what's offered I am getting worried. Should I seek professional help?
He won't even let the food go anywhere near his plate if it's not the following he'll jjustscream to take it away:
Bread of any kind. Crisp bread bagel, rolls, soda, etc Never white always multi seeded, nutty, oat, rye etc. I try to keep these as varied as possible.
Peanut butter : he lives on this as it keep his calories up. He'd probably be a waif without it with he is thriving well, happy and healthy.
Fromage Frais yogurts/3 daily
Cheeses, soft and cCheddar
Bananas
Apples
Pizza thin crust with mozzarella ham chorizo and spinach
Strawberries, occasionally
sugar made mainly of eggs (homemade)
Waffles (as pancakes)
Raisins
Marmite
Brazil Nuts
Full fat Milk occasionally
Solgar kids vitamins daily since 2 years of age
Boots omega3 smart oil since 6 months of age
That is quite shocking now I have written it down so you know way I am so desperate.
I would love to here from people who have just one child who have things I can try as the dynamics of more than one child changes things significantly.
We do sit down and eat together at mealtimes.

10 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoCould my 45 yr old Husband have skin cancer now? Severly burn 25 years ago?
My Husband was a Ski Instructor in his early 20's and a tour rep in hot countries. Apart from being in the sun a lot with his work without (I imagine) proper protection (he is very blonde) He severely burnt the side of his face beside his eye in a crescent moon shape.
Now he is 45 and he is having problems with the same patch of skin. It flares up and goes angrily red and is very painful for no apparent reason. This has been happening more recently. I have taken pictures but I don't know how to upload them. Obviously he is very concerned as it's just the same area as the major burn. He has a Doctors appointment next week when he's off work but the skin may have calmed down by then. When it flares up it stays for hours if not days and then suddenly disappears.
Can anyone shed any light on the possibilities?
PLEASE ONLY HELPFUL ANSWERS

1 AnswerHistory1 decade agoPeriod 7 day early! Brown blood only now day 3. Could I be pregnant?
My hubby and I have been actively trying for over a year with no luck. I normally have a strict 28 cycle but I am now only brown bleeding and it's gunky. And it started on day 21. My normal cycle is heavy by day 2. This is much much less and no red blood at all. My last cycle was heavy as normal and a full period. This is day 3 and I do need a pad but one pad could last all day if I wanted so it's not heavy. I just wondered if I'm clutching at straws or if I could indeed be .....
2 AnswersTrying to Conceive1 decade agohow do I get a patent licience to use someone elses patent if I am in the UK and it is registered in the US?
I want to use an existing patent but change the scale considerable to use for a different market. I know you can get a license to use patents but I don't know where to start. I do not have a lot of money to do this but I think it can be a good earner and High demand product.
Can anyone give me really good advice and if at all specific details or instructions of how to go about it?
This patent has been used many times world wide so I know they must license it but my modifications is an untapped market.
All help appreciated.

7 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoI have adapted a simple wooden patented product for a new market; HOW do I go about using this and how much £?
I want to use a simple wooden patented product for a new market but adapted; HOW can I do this?
I want to use an old patented product for a new market in a different size and design. This product has been used in different materials for different markets but not for the use I want it for.
The product has only ever been used for a certain market but used extensively by many different companies/makers/manufactureres. I would like to change the size of this product and the design and aim it for a totally new market,
How do I go about this with minimal funds? This has not been done with this product so it will be a totally new angle but a much needed one in my experience.
Can anyone help me? I am in the UK
1 AnswerSmall Business1 decade agoOne long DROPPING in my Kitchen yuk! What made it?
I found one long single skinny black dropping in my Kitchen. Well that's what it looked like. I only cleaned and hovered the day before and it wasn't there then. It's creeping me out.
There was only one and it was about 3.5cm long and 4mm wide, smooth with a thin line or two running the whole length of it and more or less jest BLACK. There was also a very slight twist to it and puckered at both ends.
I need to know ASAP as I won't sleep. It's an old house and not exactly air tight but it's rented and if there's a problem we will move in Jan when the lease is up.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated as I've looked for pictures of pest droppings and I can't find anything like it.
And no! It is definitely not food of any type.
Thanks in advance.
5 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoHigh protein meat cookie recipe anyone? HELP!?
OK I know this is probably the strangest question asked but I want to make a high protein cookie. A cookie with chicken, turkey or lots of eggs. so they have a higher protein content.
And I need a recipe to try. Can anyone help devise a recipe that's not just peanut butter which is the only high protein recipe for cookies I know.
The reason: my 2 year old Son is going through a very fussy eating stage. Will eat crunchy things or crispbreads or cookies. I have mage lots of veggi cookies but I want him to have more protein in his diet as he is eating a lot os carbs at the moment. He is not fat but he is very tall for his age 94ck @ 2.4 so he's going to be tall.
Can anyone suggest a recipe that has los of eggs in it for cookies or cakes or a daring mix with meat/chicken etc in it.
No silly suggestions please as it has to be safe for my Son to eat.
Thanks to anyone not laughing their head off.
