So lets say I have... 33 files, and for some reason I want to Split my Archives such that I have 102 archives in the end, each of which is X megabytes, and then delete all the original files, including deleting them from the recycling bin, then upload the split archives to the web, and deleting them from my computer.

If later, I wish to acquire the 30th file out of 33, I'd have to download all 102 archives, (or maybe up to the 90th or so, since the last 3 files are irrelevant).

Is there any way to only have to download Archives 80 to 90, then extract them and acquire my designated file?

My guess as to why this doesn't already work, is because then you end up with corrupted files, for example, File Y that was contained within archives 79, 81, and 81, is now corrupted because the first third wasn't downloaded.

so im asking is there any method to use, to ignore File Y, and only keep the contents that aren't corrupted, without having to download 102 archives

On bootup, a BIOS is required for all of the basic tasks, and it then hands over control to the Operating System, to do everything else.

But, if a UEFI is just a BIOS but faster, could you technically run a computer without a BIOS?

Im not sure if a BIOS has a job other than boot up, that a UEFI can't do, if there is such a task, then my answer is no, and if there isn't such a task, then my answer should in theory be Yes.

Alright, so I don't exactly know how to word this, which is probably why I'm getting no google results.

So Im essentially looking for a program that is constantly recording, but not saving that data, until I click some button, and it'll save the last 15 seconds or so of footage.

For example, I managed to get myself in a rare physics-breaking scenario in one of the Open World games I play, and I got shot up into the sky about 100 meters, only to fall back down and die. 

Now, I wasn't recording, obviously, since I wasn't expecting to get sent up 100 meters. but because I wasn't recording, I only managed to pause the game and record the latter half of me falling back down to earth.

I'd rather not have to be constantly filling my storage to the brim with useless footage, or constantly streaming to youtube since that takes up too much of my wifi/bandwidth/whatever. Which is why if it's continually recording, but not saving, it takes up mostly just Ram (I would assume), and only stores the 15 seconds when I tell it to. Sort of like "Recording the past"

So I guess since im supposed to be asking QUESTIONs, my question really is "Doest this software exists, and if so what is its name"

preferably free because I'm too young to work, and I don't feel like bugging my parents.

alright, so my computer is overheating, and my solution was to soak fabric and place it down on top of an area with no openings (since obviously water and electronics don't mix, so if I put water on a place with no openings, the chances of water getting into my computer and short-circuiting it are slim to none) but my parents were against that.

so, my next solution would be to use a plastic bag, since even if there are openings, nearby, they're useless if the water can't escape the plastic bag.

given that plastic bags are quite thin, I would assume their melting point is quite low and melting plastic allows water to escape, aka the opposite of what I want. However, I also know that Water is good at evening out heat, so if I do what I want, and put water in a plastic bag, will the plastic melt? or will the water spread out the heat evenly, 'reducing' the melting point of the plastic?
