How can we get our Nintendo DSes to link up together to play 2 player games?
We gave our daughters DSes for Christmas. They got a whole bunch of games, as well. A few of those games are two player games. We can't figure out how to get the game systems to link up so that the games can be played as two player games. The pictochat works just fine.
We followed the instructions that came with the game system. When we try to sync the game systems to play a game, the little green light blinks like the manual tells us it should. The 'host' system says "waiting for players" and the 'join' system says it 'looking for software available for download", but they never join together.
Any ideas why we can't get the games to sync up, even though we can get the chat to work?
Any info is very much appreciated!

1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoNetworking question...?
We have three computers, one laptop and 2 desktop computers. We have all three hooked up to a network. One desktop is our main computer. It runs Windows XP. Our other desktop and the laptop are new. They run Vista (that's what they came with-yuck!). Although both the new ones say they are connected to the network we don't know how to set them so that they can access the main computer.
What I mean is, we have music and movies and pictures on our main computer that we would like the other computers to be able to access. How do we do that?
6 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoQuestion about iPod Shuffle..?
We just bought our kids new iPod Shuffles (one for each of them).
We have an original iPod that my hubby uses. When I plugged in the one Shuffle, I left it to charge over night but it still has no songs on it. When I opened iTunes, it said that we had to update iTunes to the newest version to work with the Shuffle. So, I did that.
Now, I have iTunes open and it recognized and registered the new Shuffle. The Shuffle does show at the left side of the screen, with my daughter's name on it.
But when I click on a song in the library and drag it to the Shuffle, I get an error message that says "The iPod "Caitlyn's" cannot be synced. The required disk cannot be found."
Then it tried to sync with the Shuffle but it couldn't. I went into "File" and "Sync Caitlyn's" but that didn't do it either. I just got the same error message.
What's going on and how can I fix it? My kids are dying to listen to their new iPods.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
4 AnswersMusic & Music Players1 decade agoAttention OLDIES experts: Need info on song....?
Ok, my dad is wanting a copy of the lyrics to a song. He says the title is 'If'. Just 'If'. He thought it was by Little Anthony and the Imperials but I have been to there website where they list 15 of their albums there and all the songs on each album. That song is not on any of their albums.
If I Google "If lyrics", I get almost 60 Million hits. I have surfed thru several lyrics sites to no avail. I went to Time-Life's website and read thru all the 50's and 60's CD collections they have to see if the it was on one them but I found nothing.
I just don't know how to narrow down the search for the lyrics when I have no idea what the song sounds like or who did it. I just spent over an hour surfing the net and I had my hubby (who is an awesome searcher) surfing for about an hour this morning.
Dad says it would have come out late 50's, early 60's and was done by a motown group (it sounded motown/blues). My dad is looking for the lyrics not a copy of the song.
Thanks!!
