Don't have easy access to Macedonian embassy - just checking if anyone knows if it is possible to get a long form passport, ie 48-page vs the usual 32-page form, for Macedonians

Given the number of countries that require visas and stamps this would seem an item that should be in demand....

What are the key features a potential expat should expect when going on a 1 year assignment to Bangalore. The role is that of a Director of Product Development for an IT MNC in central Bangalore charged with growing organisation. It would be the first westerner assigned by the organisation to their Indian subsidiary.

What is reasonable and what would be a deal breaker.

interested in per diems, flight policy, home leave, car/driver allowances, accomodation allowances, tax situation, hard/soft currency payments etc

I have local Indian friends so no problem getting recommendations for good Indian cuisine but keen to identify good quality European places espacially non-Italian (I love italian but would like some variety as well)

I'm looking at taking up an executive role at a company on Murphy Road near Ulsoor Lake. I'd appreciate suggestions on good places to live for 12-18 months.

Priorities are

Prefer house over apartment -> garden & more space

Good Broadband access

own pool & garden - prefer not to share

reasonable communte to Murphy Road <1hr

security

air quality

local facilities espacially open green spaces

other expats locally (I've nothing against living beside and socialising with local Indians but would like a support network of other people in the same situation as well and expat presence also signals at least the presence of a certain standard of services)

Any advice appreciated
