I have a 2000 chevy 1500 i am about to replace the rear driver side leaf spring pack, i have everything i need except for one bolt, the bolt i DO NOT have is the one that would be closest to the front of the truck, what is the name of that bolt?........ ibhave the rear shackle and hardware as well as new u bolts i just cant figure iut the name of that one bolt!

Looking to replace rear shocks on my 2000 silverado 1500 at some point i will do my fromts also, my question is is it alright to only do the rears and at a later date change the fronts, also doni need an alignment after i do the fronts, ( its just shocks)

I was under my truck today (2000 silverado) and i noticed i have a broken leaf, its sticking right out of the pack at an angle, i really dont want to pay for a new one or take a verything apart and replace it, my question is, would it b alright to push the leaf back into the pack and put a leaf speing clamp around it?.... i am trying to look around for a new teuck but with having no credit its hard to get a loan. I just need something to hold me over untill i cam figure a new vehicle ouy

Ok so i am looking at getting a new truck and i am looking at diesel, duramax only, and i really dont know too much about diesel, hoping somone can tell me the ins and outs. Also should j go for a 6.0 or a 6.6, i am ont be doing much towing our boat only, i hear the lly is one to stay away from but i also dont exactly know what the lly really is or the or lb7 or the lbz if people could fill me in on the while duramax thing it would be great, also what is the maintenance like, i dont get that many miles a year btw
