I've been studying Japanese for going on three years now, but I still have a hard time remembering kanji that I don't use a lot. Any tips?

I'm really into the Visual Kei style, and I'd like to have a Visual-y haircut, but I dunno what would look good on me. D8

I've gone to get my hair cut using reference pictures from Shoxx and Cure, but the hair person usually doesn't really know what to do some times. So, if anyone has both styled and un-styled pictures of hair, I would appreciate it greatly.

Oh, and maybe if there's anything in specific I should tell the person before they actually cut my hair...?

I'm actually having a few problems that may or may not be virus-related.

In the past two days, my computer has been acting up.

When I open Firefox, it often freezes up [especially on imeem and YouTube] and I can't open Firefox again more that once or twice after I close it.

I've tried to uninstall the Google toolbar for Firefox several times, but each time I reopen it, a window pops up asking me to choose my settings for the toolbar and won't let me exit out of it.

Now, when I open Windows Media Player, I can play a song for about 30 seconds before it freezes and I can't get it to work again until I restart the computer.

I've put all of this as one problem because, as I said, I think it's virus-related. I use LimeWire a lot, so it's highly possible, I think.

I've scanned my computer with two or three different anti-virus programmes, but they haven't found anything at all. The computer is pretty new - only a month old - and up to this point has been working just great.

I've been friends with a girl since seventh grade [just finished ninth grade] and I've been friends with a lot of my other friends for just as long. This girl, though, is rather annoying and just isn't that great of a friend. Another friend of mine who has known the first friend for much longer than I have doesn't relaly like her anymore, either.

The only reason I really hang out with this girl any more is because I feel obligated. She always just assumes that she's invited to everyone's parties and that seems to trouble some of my other friends as well as me.

Anyway, I'm not sure what I should do. Should I tell her 'look, I just don't want to be friends anymore'? Or should I just stop inviting her to things or what?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

[Fyi: a Tpod is about the same size as an iPod Nano...

It practically IS a Nano, in my opinion - but it's able to play videos, so, bleh.]

I'm not sure if regular-sized subbed videos would would out...

So, maybe the resolution of the videos would have to be smaller or something...?
