It was developed by a former Lt. Colonel in the Confederate Army. Surely it must be destroyed...

Personally, I think that's what it's going to take in Cleveland. Tear it down to the ground, and re-build.

7 AnswersPolitics6 years agoFirst, the bad news, then the (sort of) good news?
The bad news: Your candidate for POTUS will not win.
The (sort of) good news: You can personally pick the POTUS from the OTHER PARTY.
Who would you choose?
I personally would vote for Jim Webb, if there was no other viable alternative. And, Biden could provide some laughs.
2 AnswersPolitics6 years agoYears ago, cartoons, and kids TV shows were about Bugs Bunny outsmarting Elmer Fudd. Today, They are about magic and witchcraft. Why?
Of course Bugs, Daffy, Foghorn and the rest were deemed insensetive, and violent, and they're out of here.
Now, all the characters, sit around at computers(I-Carly) and/or possesing magic powers (Thundermans, Fairly Odd Parents)
Is this approved by the glorious Department of Education? Are they being prepared for the reality of never being in control, and have to settle for loafing, sorcery(drugs) and fantasy?
5 AnswersPolitics6 years agoShould we leave everything to "the professionals?
"Professional- Do not attempt"
"Professional driver on closed course- Do not attempt"
Do you think that if Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Alexander Graham Bell, Steve Jobs, should have left it to "professionals"?
Does the music business stink, because we've "left it to professionals", like Katy Perry, Train, Bon Jovi, Luke Bryan, Ariana Grande, and the Wu Tan Clan?
Have you left your life, to the "professionals"
1 AnswerCelebrities6 years agoDo you think John Mayer has to listen to Katy Perry's music when they go out together?
My wife, when we were dating, had this mix tape(this was over 30 years ago, so yes it was a tape), that I grew to hate, and she had it in her purse every time we went out. But, in the interest of peace and harmony, and because there were bigger battles than that, I played it...
John Mayer, is a talented, well respected guitarist, who has played with the likes of Eric Clapton, and BB King, and dating phony-baloney pop princess Katy Perry: I could picture her looking to see if he was singing along to 'Roar', or if he was noticing the subtle nuances, in 'California Gurls', and her talking over his guitar solos, or saying "what's BB King ever done?" "His songs are boring, you cannot dance to them"
Sometimes, it's the price you pay...
4 AnswersOther - Music6 years agoWill you vote for a "vulture capitalist" this time around, in 2016?
One who helped "destroy main street" by expanding the evil corporations who killed small businesses, all for their evil shareholders, deep pockets. Will you, Mr., and Mrs., Middle Class American, with your hard-working union values, support that candidate?

1 AnswerOther - Politics & Government6 years agoDid American Idol ruin music, or did it make music better?
http://money.cnn.com/2015/05/11/media/american-ido...
Personally, I only watched one season all the way thru(The year Daughtry was in it). Most of the winners IMO, have annoying music, and have brought the quality of music in general way down.
Now, people like Arianna Grande, are considered talented(yes I know she wasn't a AI contestant, she's from Nickelodeon).
I think AI helped ruin music. Maybe since it's gone, you'll see real musicians again.

The 'O' stood for Obama, who they were in the tank for, last election. Since Hillary Rodham-Clinton will be their BFF this time, here are a few suggestions...
"The Hildabeastie Boys"
"The Sniper Shields"
"Dead Broke Brokers"
2 AnswersPolitics6 years ago40 years from now?
Back when I was in High School, movies like Saturday Night Fever, and Grease were huge box office smashes. Needless to say, the radio, was saturated with the soundtracks. Your only escape was the AOR stations At the time, I could not stand the Bee Gees.
Fast Forward to 2015. Over the years I have learned to appreciate the Brothers Gibb, they were really good songwriters, and most of their stuff is quality, just overplayed 37 years ago.
I cannot see anyone 40 years from now saying the same about Taylor Swift, Train, and any rapper besides maybe Snoop Dogg. Agree? Disagree? Will anyone stand the test of time that's playing right now?
