Anyone help with definitions of the first & last one please?

I have just downloaded a job application form, as a pdf, in Reader 9 but there is no typewriter facility with the programme. Also the form doesn't offer that icon so you can input your own text (my handwriting isn't the best anyway!!)

I have used typewriter with a previous Adobe product but lost that programme when I changed pc. Any suggestions of where I can get a FREE download so I can type in the relevany fields?

In Windows Vista I have a wallpaper picture, supplied with the pc, of somwhere in China / Japan certainly oriental.

There is a river in the cetre running up to a village and tall mountains in the background.

On the "properties" tag for the picture (image16) in Windows Wallpaper it has copyright info (Walter Bibikow/Taxi/Getty Images) but I can't find info of the picture anywhere on Walter Bibilow's site or Getty Images site. Does anyone know where this was taken?.

Until recently when I depressed the brake pedal the brake lights came on at the slightest touch but in the past few weeks they only respond after a couple of seconds causing me some concern.

I have checked the connection on the small relay switch above the pedal and that seems ok. On the relay switch there is a small red button that is sticking out. Does this matter? I have pressed it back in but nothing changes.

Any answers?

Can anyone explain the origin of the UK motorway speed limit of 70mph? Why not 100mph or something like that?

Any suggestions on how to get paint out of a fleece jumper, pair of trousers & a polo shirt and not leave any marks.

I've tried white spirit but that didn't do much.

The jumper is light grey, trousers dark grey and polo shirt yellow...any suggestions?

I have just been fiddling around with my Yahoo calender. It was on the weather for Cairo so I decided to change it. Choose my home town, in the uk, and saved....now I don't have the option to change the weather to London, which is better than nothing, I suppose because I chose a provincial area instead of the London default for uk...

With the new registration system of a twice yearly change e.g 06 for March & 56 for September would I be right in saying that once we get past 2009 then the next decade (2010 to 2019) will have a 6 prefix for the September reg?

On that assumption you woud then have a

7 for 2020 to 2029

8 for 2030 to 2039

9 for 2040 to 2049

What has been suggested for registrations after 2050??

I have just been told that I am a beneficiary in a will from a relative and have been given a value on the probate estate. However, I want to check that the value I have been given matches the value of the estate.

Is there anywhere that a member of the public can check on intestate wills to check that I am not being short changed. I'm not complaining as it's nice to find out you have money coming to you from an unknown source but, not trusting the legal profession I would just like to see if the value I have been given matches the estimated estate value.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere I can download the Options tv ad where the girl is speed dating and she meets loads of men with Options wrappers on and the she chooses the one in green???
