Ellie B
'Lo! I'm Ellie =) What d'you need to know? I'm eighteen, from Bolton (oop Norf, 'case you were wondering...and yeah we do all wear flat caps and say things like "I haffort do it" ;)...) I'm doing A-Levels at the moment...want to be a music journalist...um, well, what else? Apparently my skills include reading, writing, discovering songs that WILL be hits (coughSamSparrocough) and "making really boring things sound interesting", so happy to help there then. ;)
The song on the Make My Body Younger advert (youtube link inside)?
Does anyone know what song it is on the BBC3 Make My Body Younger trailer? It's driving me mad!
1 AnswerOther - Music1 decade agoThe marks I got for my A Level don't add up according to the grade boundaries on the website...?
According to the results I received from my college, I got 86 marks - an A grade - on the ENB5 module. But according to AQA's grade boundaries, the maximum mark for the paper is 70. Does anyone know what's happened, has it happened to anyone else, and do you think it's worth querying?
Thanks!
2 AnswersStandards & Testing1 decade agoWhich songs make you feel sick in a good way?
You know the ones I mean. Some songs just make your stomach all clench up when you hear them, they're that good. They're the ones that years and years later, you can come back to and they're like old friends, waiting patiently for you to discover them all over again.
Some examples (well, mine): The Cure - Lovecats (that bassline sends shivers down my spine every time), The Libertines - The Good Old Days (makes me sad, very sad) and David Bowie - Kooks (just...there are no words).
What're yours?
11 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoDoes anyone know the dance track featuring an accordion?
There's a track I've heard once on The Hits which was an instrumental dance track, but featuring an accordion...the video had a bloke wandering round a town (maybe a seaside place?) playing his accordion and making people dance...it was excellent, can anyone give me the name of the title/artist?
