  • Are You Struggling with Your Sexual Identity?

Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil is Very Interesting. I didn’t know that She Self Identified as Queer. I support that Completely!!! I’m Gay and Proud of it Very Much. I support Transgender Humans and Sympathize with the Internal Struggles They Live with. Gender Dysphoria is something that I am Intentionally Learning about through YouTube Videos. I don’t Struggle with those Specific Identity issues. However, I will let You know from My Own Experiences. Being Gay, is Absolutely Not a Simple way To Self Identity Either. Choosing not to Be Who I Authentically Am, is even more of a Struggle and Psychological War for Me. The Demi Lovato Dancing 💃 With The Devil Was Very Informative To My Personal Brain 🧠

    You asked

    Our opinions

    You asked

    To be critiqued

    When I

    Tell you

    The Truth

    You get

    Mad

    At me

    I ain't

    Pickin on you

    No malice

    In my words

    Yet

    You get

    Super sensitive

    After

    You read

    My words

    If you

    Can't handle

    Honesty

    Then step

    To the

    Honesty

    Will

    Help you

    Why

  • What do you think of my work?

    Short Term

    ---------------

    I’m makin’

    Short term goals

    As my future unfolds

    Will I get paid

    In silver?

    Greenbacks

    Or Gold?

    How I’ll get there

    Is a story

    That remains untold

    In my right hand

    It’s a pen that I hold

    I write my own story

    As

    My history unfolds

    Is a story

    Currently being written

    Each day I awake

    And my pen

    Stays on the pad

    Because

    Breaks I don’t take

    I’m steady on the grind

    Each day I awake

    In love with

    The rhymes

    My mind creates

  • Opinion on my writing?

    So Far

    ----------

    So far so good

    No hype man

    And no mic

    No ghostwriters either

    Left instruments behind

    All of these rhymes

    Come straight from

    My mind

    When and where this will

    Take me

    I’m eager to find

Imagine the places I could go

If they gave me a mic

    I’d rock the crowd

    From left to the right

    Have them

    Shouting my name

    All day

    And all night

    Until the day finally came

    That me and my name

    Were in

    The spotlight

  • What do you think of my work?

    I'm Out

    ---------

    That’s it

    I quit

    Sayonara

    So long

    I obviously

    Wasn’t enough

    For you

    So I’m

    Moving on

    Your eyes

    Were your tell

    Following guys

    Left

    And

    Right

    Silently telling

    Me so long

    It took

    Me a while

    To hear

    But now

    The message

    Is loud

    And clear

    Whatever it is

    That you’re

    Looking for

    It obviously

    Isn’t here

    I’m more hurt

    Than betrayed

    Feel like

    I’ve wasted

    My days

    But I

    Will no longer

    Obstruct your view

    And let

    Your prince

    Get away

    We weren’t

    Meant to be

    I finally see

    As I

    Tried to

    Hold on

    You just

    Wanted to

    Be free

    So unchain

    Yourself from me

    I don’t care

    To be

    The one

    Who

    Stands between

    Yourself

    And happy

  • What do you think of my work?

    Him

    ------

    He was

Tall, fair skinned, intelligent, and mine

In the race for first place

    He left

    All others behind

    Capsuled in my arms

    He didn’t

    Fight to get away

    Right there

    Against my chest

    He was happy

    To stay

    Some of you

    May find this difficult

    To wrap your head

    Around it

    But y’all

    Sweat the small stuff

    He’s the other

    Half of

    My soul

    And I’m so glad

    I found it

    Now comes

    The tough part

    Can our relationship

    Withstand it

    Or will

    We wither away

    Like Pluto

Which is no longer a planet

    I believe

    I have faith

    And a surplus

    Of conviction

    Say whatever you may

    Through it all I’m staying

    With him

    Some of you

    May find this difficult

    To wrap your head

    Around it

    But y’all

    Sweat the small stuff

    He’s the other

    Half of

    My soul

    And I’m so glad

    I found it

    The day has finally come

For us to begin a new life

    Pride

    Respect

    And devotion

    Y’all need a new life

    We’ve talked about kids

    Where we’ll live

    The whole nine yards

    What’s mine is his

    And what’s his

    Becomes ours

    It’s the year 2014

    Y’all need to get with

    The times

    Leave your prior notions

    In the past

    And

    Leave ‘em behind

    Some of you

    May find this difficult

    To wrap your head

    Around it

    But y’all

    Sweat the small stuff

    He’s the other

    Half of

    My soul

    And I’m so glad

    I found it

  • Please rate my poem on a 1-10 scale. It's titled "Differences"?

    Everyone's life is different

even twins who look the same

    like identical twins same face

    different name

their life experiences will be similar

    though not the same

    each will face different challenges

    some will be lost

    and others they over came

    different life situations

    some spectacular

    others mundane

one may become a mill worker

where usually everyday is the same

    the other could

    become a superstar

    with millions upon billions

    screaming your name

the point of this poem is to illustrate

    that nobody's the same

I hope that I got that point across

    to you

    oh and by the way

    Brooks is my name

  • Please rate my poem on a 1-10 scale. It's titled, "The questionnaire"?

    I saw you in class

    just the other day

since then my memory of your flawless face just

    won't fade away

now I'm not all about the physical

though it does matter to a point

    I'm more impressed by

    humor

    intellect

    respect

    and manners

if you want to earn more points

    as of now

your orientation is unclear to me

are you attracted to the ladies?

or is there something in guys that turns your key

I've got your full attention for the moment

do you like what you see

do you want to browse around

or spend more time here with me

I see and respect the challengers from the other side

and I respect them very much

this is just a fore warning

    I play for keeps

    not to get crushed

now that I've got you here alone

    just you and I

I've got a series of questions for you

    are you gay?

    straight?

    or bi?

  • Please rate my a capella spoken word on a scale of 1-10?

    Cut the music

    And kill thebeat

    Because I don't need 'em

They trap me in a cage

    And I want freedom

    So I burst the drums

    And I kill the keyboard

Freedom from my musical chains is my reward

    Now let's see

What do I want to talk about today?

    Debt

    Sweat

Going to work and getting paid

My mind declines these four options

I'd rather talk about something that I deal with

    Far more often

    Being gay

    And all of the options

    Who to date?

    How old or how young?

    What ethnicity appeals to you?

    And where to find 'em?

I'm all out of spoken words

So I'll end the poem here

I want to read your opinions

    So please send them here

  • Please rate my song on a 1-10 scale. It's titled "My Wants"?

I want to kiss you more than ever

    until my lips fade away

    love you forever

    and a day

    your physique will change

    but that won't bother me

my love for you will remain

like a boat anchored in the sea

we'll have our ups and downs

    like every other couple

but through all the yelling and screaming

you'll know that I still love you

    I'm tired of playing games

    I'm ready to settle down

    no more flirting and games

    I only want you around

and it's true I want your head to be adorned with my kings crown

    I meet your family

    And they're cool

    You've met mine as well

You've met the five of them

And things seem to be going well

The only question we all have is how soon until we hear wedding bells

I'm tired of playing games I'm ready to settle down

    no more flirting and games

    I only want you around

    And it's true

I want your head to be adorned with my king's crown

Marriage is fraught with expectations and responsibilities

instead we chose the alternate route

a partnership that provides companionship and stability

It puts our minds at ease

    I'll handle certain things

And I'll be there to catch him

    Whenever he falls

I certainly don't want my Man

    Or any woman

To have to do it all

    Listen with your heart

It will rarely lead you astray

    Listen every morning

    Noon

    Night and day

Now the science of logic would say that

Acting solely on emotion is illogical

    And I'd have to agree

But I'd have to ask you

    How many logicians are happy

    Healthy

    And content with their lives?

If the answer was slim to none

    I'd fail to be surprised

    Listen with your heart

So you won't become one of these ladies or guys

Listening with your heart may sound foolish to some

    Making risks and taking chances

Is the only way this game of life can be won

  • Please read my, "If Heaven Was A Mile away"?

If Heaven was a mile away

I'd have my satchel waiting by the gate

I'd be overly anxious to get in

    Because I hate to wait

I'd be on pins and needles

To get behind those pearly gates

    But beyond the pearls

    I'd wonder what awaits
