In the new format if I go to answer a question a window appears that then blocks the view of the question so you cannot check the details of the question while writing the answer.  I've tried pasting the question into the answer box and then deleting but this is awkward to do.  Any other ideas?  Is there any way to write to the folks at Yahoo! to complain?

Only Turkey recognises Northern Cyprus but the EU regards the whole of the island of Cyprus as part of the EU. The reunification of Cyprus seems very unlikely and without it how can Turkey join the EU? The only other thing I can think of would be for Northern Cyprus to have full international recognition and to also become a member of the EU which seems even less likely. Or am I missing something?

Nocturnal means active at night and diurnal is active in the day but what do you call something that is most likely to be out and about on the borders between night and day.

In Britain today we drive on the other side of the road to most of the rest of Europe. However during the Roman occupation, people using those excellent Roman roads must surely have travelled on a standard side of the road throughout the Empire. What side of the road was that? Why is Britain different today?
