  • Help with some Tunisian Arabic words please!?

    So...I'm trying to learn Tunisian Arabic. I have a few friends who help me but I feel like I am constantly annoying them with questions so a little help from someone on here would be appreciated!

    Also, can you write the answers in "roman alphabet" (or whatever it's called) and not in Arabic script please!

  • Homosexuality in Tunisia?

    Just looking for a little advice or past experiences.

    I'm a young female going to Hammamet in Tunisia in 3 weeks time. My 2 friends that I am going with are male and gay but are not a couple, just friends. The 3 of us are sharing a room when we are there. I know that Homosexuality is illegal in Tunisia but are the rules relaxed around the tourist areas? Is it just illegal for locals to be homosexual? Do you think that we may encounter any problems? We are planning to be away from the hotel for excursions, to visit any markets, restaurants and beaches. Although they are not a couple, some people may notice as one of my friends is quite "camp".

    Any info will be a fantastic help!!
