To start off with - I'm an atheist and i know god doesn't exist. But for the sake of this argument I will say he does.

According to the bible, god made all the animals and such. Later on, someone mad him mad and he flooded the world killing countless animals, but saving a few to propagate later.

According to the bible, if you don't believe in god or jesus - you go to hell. Even if you never heard of either of these two or understand it, you go to hell.

So... The animals of today - don't know jesus, why are they being sent to hell? That's not so nice, why did he even bother saving the animals if he knew they were going to fry later? Is that what they feed you in heaven? It doesn't make sense, did I miss something? - and yes I know the bible doesn't make any sense in general.

It seems odd to me that in churches all around the world they symbolically eat the body of jesus. And the wine represents his blood... where did the idea come from? It makes me think that when he died (if he actually existed), that they ate him afterwards. is that why he wasn't in that cave? because they ate him?

here is my line of thought. i'm an atheist by the way.

let's say for argument sake - god actually exists.

he will grant you your prayers - but he's more like a genie, in that he will only grant 3 - in your whole lifetime. you don't know that this is the rule.

if you did know - would you save up your prayers and use it when your really needed it?

right now everyone prays for stupid reasons - i want to win the lottery, get this job, find the remote for the tv, get the drain to unclog, etc would everyone stop praying and use it the way it's supposed to be used? when you really, really need it. if i were god, i would be so annoyed by the requests, that i really wouldn't care about the old rules, i would banish anyone for praying for something stupid.

it's like calling the fire department to open a pickle jar.

so the guy carried all those animals and i guess insects. how did he save the termites, and why?

i asked earlier if god was an atheist, and i got the answers i was expecting. he's not because he believes in himself. circular logic, but ok, and answer is an answer.

what religion is he?

again for sake of argument, let's say he's real, even though the evidence doesn't support it.

the jewish people thought up this current version of god - and he says that the jewish people are his people. so we can assume that god is jewish too, or created it. or something.

but the christians more or less stole most of the jewish religion and reclassified their god, so now he's christian.

but then the muslims also use the same basic texts or at least a similar history, i would assume god is a muslim.

so now we have 3 big religions. christians think that muslims, jews, atheists, and basically anyone that doesn't think like them will go to hell. because presumably, god is christian - because the laws that are quoted to everyone about hell, is from the bible.

but the jews were there first...

anyway, what religion is he supposed to be anyway? god believes in god - is not a religion, therefore i still see him as atheist.

a belief in yourself is not a religion. i am an atheist, i believe in myself - people are dumbfounded by this. so what is he? and why should i play by your rules?

i always thought they used the current number system from rome - roman numerals. they said the sign of the devil is 666 - but wouldn't it be more like XI XI XI? where did the current 666 come from?

i'm a jewish atheist, only recently did i start looking at the bible... i came across how hold some people were, like Noah - from the ark, was like 600 years old when it flooded and 950 when he died.

according to some sites they had a different number system; i'm still trying to figure out how old he really was.

but on that same topic - this would skew everything else, since some people died at a normal age. moses wandered the desert for 40 years - was it more like 4 years? the 7 day miracle where the oil lasted a week, instead of a day - was it really 7 days our time - or theirs. would the equivalent be more like minutes?

or how about it rained for 40 days and 40 nights? if noah was 600 years old, with that number system, is this count accurate as well? could it be more like 4 days? which would make more sense, and maybe a week out to sea, instead of months like it says in the bible.

now i know many things don't make sense. and while there could be a hidden message in there, i doubt it. though the do have many unusual numbers like the amount that can go into heaven is like 144000, yet i read on a page that they used roman numerals, and they didn't have zero's - so this is a little confusing too...

anyway, any ideas about real ages, i can't find a calculator. thanks

i'm an atheist. i'm curious about angels.

as it's told, god created humans in his own image, and being perfect i guess he was accurate. however when you die, and if you go to heaven, you are turned into some kind of chimera. a sort of human-avian hybrid.

why do you get wings when your there, but not when your on earth? why do you become a monster?

the only theory i have is that when it's cloudy outside angels have a place to stand. but when the skies are clear, they have no where to go, so the wings are needed.

the other is that god plucks them off if your bad.

any ideas?

i'd like to know how to touch in a casual way. i know a girl that does do that - but it's not natural for me, i'm not that social. is there a safe way, or a safe place to touch. it doesn't have to be sexual, it's a coworker - i just need to figure out the best way and best timing so it looks natural.

i have a friend from guianna - everyone calls her pokey - but apparently it means something else in her language. they say it's a curse word of some kind, but no one will tell me what it means or what it's slang for. any ideas?
