Is it legal for sports competition organisers to insist on having my medical condition named?
I have a mild form of MS and still play golf once or twice a week -sometimes I am too fatigued to walk but ok to play. Since some competitions require you to walk unless you have a medical certificate, I have a medical certificate stating that I could need to use a buggy. This certificate does not currently state what my condition is.
One competition I want to enter requires me to state what my condition is on the medical certificate - I don't want to do that.
Is it legal for them to insist on knowing what my condition is?
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics9 years agomy garmin satnav takes ages to acquire satellites - is this normal or do I need a new satnav?
It has always taken some time but recently appears to be worse. It is several years old - possibly 5 - but works fine. I do not want to buy a new one unless I'm sure it will improve the situation.

8 AnswersMedicine1 decade agopoor performance on my windows xp system - help please?
I have an amd athlon , 3500+,2.2 gHz, 1.0 GB of RAM
Windows XP professional version 2002 service pack 2
A few days ago the system ground almost to a halt and the performance has been dreadful since
I've searched for viruses and spyware but it seems clean
Everything seems normal apart from being SLOW e.g. taking 10 minutes to logon, and being unable to play music without an unacceptable stutter.
Windows task manager says my system is using virtually 100% of the CPU nearly all the time. After the system had been idle for over an hour the CPU usage was at 100% split between two SYSTEM tasks svchost.exe (65-75%) and winlogon.exe (20-35%)
Any ideas please

3 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoWho is the racist?
A teenager was rude to me in the supermarket today. I did not make a scene but made some comment to the woman on the till. The mother waited for me outside the shop and accused me of being racist.
It had not thought about the fact the kid was brown until she said that.
I wonder what excuse she would have made for her child's behaviour if I had been brown too.
