On June 10 I hurt my left knee while long boarding and have felt like I've been getting the run around since.

The MRI report says my MCL is completely torn and my ACL has a mild sprain and is swollen.

I've been on crutches the entire time.

My left knee feels like it burns on the inside side and the front of my knee on the outside hurts that goes into the front of my calf. My foot has been swollen up and numb/tingly. I even catch my leg just shaking by itself which is painful and keeps me awake.

A week ago I saw an orthopedic doctor and he just said to me that I'd probably need surgery and ordered an MRI.

I have had improvement since the injury THANKFULLY (that early pain had tears in my eyes) but find myself in a lot of pains that bother me for some hours.

I haven't had any pain medications but Motrin 600s and naproxen. When I met the ortho.. I asked him if he could give me some type of pain meds and he said to call my PCP so I did that... and then I got denied for any pain medications from both doctors. I'm not really sure why when I see many other people getting them for whatever.

My next appointment isn't until August 1 and it is driving me crazy not knowing if I should still be hurting or not.. or if I will be having surgery or not.. I am just feeling so left in the dark and it's not too great for morale.

I'm not sure what my question is exactly but if anyone has any info on their process of healing and whatnot or any other thing let me know! :)

they're poor and their mother only makes 10g a year? If someone's EFC is zero they should get a full Pell grant and be eligible for Stafford loans which is like 10g a school year.

If tuition for a school year is 25g how will they pay for it? Do schools that cost more money have better financial aid programs that give the students more money or are they just out of luck if they can't afford school?

I'm talking about an institution that compares with the University of Michigan.. and their medical program. Or are the schools just okay? Or bad?

I'm in college and have 4 brand new books. It was a very humid night Saturday and now my pages are so wrinkly. I stacked them up and put them under a pile of heavy records but that didn't do the trick. Any advice? Or am I just going to get a lot less money when I return the books. :(

We have a desktop computer and a cable modem with just one thing for the internet cord that goes into the desktop. When I try to take it out so put into my personal laptop (the wireless broke) it doesn't work. What should I do about this?

Has anyone ever had it done? I'm pretty scared to get it done! How many shots did you get? Did you have any side effects? Did it even work!?

because he won't plead guilty. He has a domestic violence charge from '96 and I was wondering if my lawyer is going to be allowed to bring that up in court since it's the same charge.

Did you or are you planning to get a hysterectomy because of the potential risk of cancer from testosterone? I know it hasn't been proven yet but might as well be safe than sorry, you know?

My girlfriend and I bought a Toy Poodle 4 days ago. We brought him home and all seemed well, but after feeding him and taking him outside to go 'potty', we put him in his crate, and he immediately pooped everywhere inside it. We thought maybe it was because he was excited, or new home jitters, but he went the rest of the night, and following day trying, without success to poop. After a trip to the vet and a little bit of mineral oil, he pooped about 3 hours later, he pooped once. The vet did a 'fecal' where they check for worms, and it was negative. He didn't poop the rest of the day, or today at all. We even gave him a bit more mineral oil (after vet suggestion) and it hasn't made any difference. He tries so hard to go, but it doesn't work. We're really worried it may be something much more. What should we do?

I've been taking 200mg 2 times a day for 4 days now for migraines, and I've been feeling emotional for no reason and my friends say I seem depressed. I've just been getting emotional and teary eyed for no reason at all which is not like me.

I've also been dizzy and lightheaded. I think it's because I'm on a new med and my body is getting used to it and it will go away. Will it go away as I get used to it or is it just a regular side effect?

I never take anything but it was needed. I was wondering when will it be out of my system for a urine test.

This happens to me multiple times a week.. My pupils will be moving very fast large to small without any light change at all. It looks like I have a strobe light pointed at me.

When this happens it makes my head hurt very bad like a migraine. I've been to a neurologist for migraines and also told them about this but that was no help and my insurance got canceled. I should be able to get back to a doctor in 1 or 2 months but until then. Help?!
