I remember my mother in laws mum coming over and talking about a washing line. She is scottish and the word she used apparently meant washing line..... What is that word?!

Hi all, I have a 3 (nearly 4) month old kitten who is litter trained... or he was!

Recently he has started to poo and wee in the corners of each room instead of using his litter tray.

He is unneutered, but he will be neutered quite soon.

He is in the same areas as my other neutered male cat, I wondered if this was why he was peeing, like he wants to mark his territory, but this is proper wee, not spraying and it doesn't explain the pooing either, so I'm not sure.

Everytime he does this, I clean the area with disinfectant and also spray it with some stuff I got from the pet shop which is supposed to deter the cat from doing it again, but he still does.

When we put him in his tray he will go to the toilet almost straight away if he needs it.

I'm really confused and its making me angry as I'm having to spend money on dry cleaning, once for my new curtains and again for a coat that was left on the floor.

what can I do and why is he doing it?!

I bought a kitten yesterday from somebody who didn't want him - they said they had a new baby and didn't think the could give him enough time.

Apparently when he was born the mother bit off his tail thinking it was the umbilical cord.

We got him home and he seems a very confident cat, hasn't been scare of anything. However, he is in the spare room at the moment and we noticed a lot of poo patches around the carpet, my boyfriend said when he got him home he had crusted poo on his anus and he had to try and bathe it off of him. When I got home from work he had crusty poo on his anus again. I cleaned him up and called the vets - they saw him and said he seemed fine.

But I would say every 30 minutes or so another bit of poo just kind of secretes out and he sits down and it gets everywhere. It's weird because he is doing normal poos in his litter tray.

I'm getting worried that he has a problem and this is why the couple didn't want him. As a rule we never get rid of pets but of he isn't going to get better and keep leaving bits of poo all over the house we are going to have to get rid of him.

Anyone know what this is? Will it get better? What can I do?

I am going to London on Thursday 7th February with my friend.

We are coming from Swindon(Wiltshire) and would like somewhere to park for free, or very cheap in/around London, outside the congestion zone.....

So the west side of London would be better for us and then we can get the tube in.

Any ideas where we can park?

I am trying to plan a girly long weekend to Amsterdam in January 2013. I expect around 6 of us will be going.

We are looking for a cheap place to stay but not somthing like a public hostel, it would need to be for just all 6 of us and no kind of "strangers"

I would like it to be modern and a clean place to stay preferably with breakfast but this is not essential.

Any idea of websites to book this kind of holiday? Best places to stay for the best taste of Amsterdam? Value for money?
