Electrician advice needed please regarding a fickle TV?
I have a large flat screen TV that for some reason has started putting itself into standby mode intermittently. I gave it to my friend as I thought he might be able to fix it but in fact it worked fine at his house so I brought it back home again only for it to start happening again. What could it be? I thought possibly a loose connection but then why did it work with absolutely no problems at the other place? Does anyone know if its possible that some electric supplies are stronger than others and more likely to cause a TV to overheat perhaps? Thanks
1 AnswerTVs8 years agoHair dye gone wrong...help needed!?
I've been bleaching my hair for years but decided to take it back to my natural colour as I had roots and the ends were almost white blondes. After putting the colour on I decided I didn't really like it so attempted to bleach it again using Loreal Preference but it stripped the colour but left my hair a kind of beigey colour which I did't like. So I tried a different colour which had no effect and have since put on two more blonde dyes, this is all in the space of three days. My hair is now a light beige grey colour and I can't go on dying it endlessly. Please, if you know what you're talking about can you let me know should I try a stronger bleach on it like Schwarzkopf live or go back darker? I can't afford to do it professionally :(

I really love Maybelline lash stylist but I haven't been able to find an eye make up remover that can get it all off. I usually end up with it still in clumps on my lashes and it can build up if I don't physically pull it off with my finger nails. Please can somebody recommend a good product to use?

I have a place booked for a trip to borneo but I am not looking forward to it because I have a huge fear of flying. Somebody is willing to take my place so I could get my money back but I know I would be missing out on an amazing experience. Also if I were to go I'd be away from my children for 2 weeks with no communication. I'm so torn. Should I stay or should i go? Your opinions would be really appreciated! Thanks

Hi. I need to do a poster presentation on the limb morphology of arboreal mammals. I intend on focusing on a mammal known for being powerful aswell as one reknowned for its speed. Any ideas what I could choose to represent power? I have chosen the Gibbon for speed. I would like it if the two creatures were not similar in their limb adaptations. Thank you

Hi. Way back at the beginning of October I got a really bad cold that lasted for 8 weeks, however, since that I have still not regained my sense of taste and smell. Well, it comes back from time to time for a couple of minutes or so, then it goes again. Is this normal? Should I be worried? Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi there. This morning after I answered a question this weird text (see example pasted below) appeared on my screen, only when I'm on Yahoo. It runs all the way down the side of the questions and answers where the avatars usually go. Is anybody else getting it? And does anybody know how to get rid of it?
