works of mercy is as follows:

The spiritual works of mercy are:

•To instruct the ignorant;

•To counsel the doubtful;

•To admonish sinners;

•To bear wrongs patiently;

•To forgive offences willingly;

•To comfort the afflicted;

•To pray for the living and the dead.

Do Protestants actually think that heaven is a grave yard and not for the living?? I get some really weird answers by Protestants regarding the dead. Do you not believe that heaven is for the living? Do you think our souls die at death? Do you not worship the living God? If you believe that heaven is for the living then why do you say that those in heaven are dead?

As Christians is it not our promise from God to have eternal life upon death? Why do so many of you say that those in heaven are dead? Heaven is for the living,not the dead, it is not a graveyard

How can you have biblical Christianity when Christianity existed before the bible came about?

God beget his Son in the heart/soul, of Jesus Christ, not in Mary's womb. His Son is spiritual, not fleshly. So are we who are born of God.

Jesus was born of a virgin, yet he is the virgin who bore the Emmanuel.

As a convert I have learned a great many things regarding Jesus Christ's Catholic Church but I have a question.

When one is saying the Penitential Rite(the I confess) why do we strike our chest/breast area 3 times?

That their spirit is also dead? Dont Protestants know that when one dies in Christ's friendship that they are ALIVE in heaven? Heaven is for the living, not the dead. We follow the Living Christ not the dead Christ.

Why do people think that being celibate and pedophilia are connected? Celibacy is a choice many people(men and women) choose to do. Pedophilia is a mental disease. I dont get the connection. Not all people need or want sex
