I'm trying to find a security camera system that will connect to my computer. I need the cameras to be outdoor type. I want to be able to connect to my computer and record any events. I would like to keep it around $300.00 for the system. Thank you for all answers.

What is the best Automotive Code Scanner availible, to you? I have heard that there are some that interface with a computer. I really want one that will give me the most information and the most to the point codes. Thanks to all responses.

Turned ignition key, dash lights are normal, but no power to starter or ignition circuits. Starter is good, applied 12v to it and starter operated normally. Checked all fuses in fuse box, they seemed good. If you have had this problem, what did you do to solve it?

My sister has been pouring grease in her sink. It has settled in her sewer pipes. She also has tree roots to add to the problem. Has anyone had this problem? What did you do to solve it? Thanks for any and all help.

I replaced the oil pump and oil pressure regulator, my oil pressure is low when the car is idleing. It will go up to 40 psi at higher RPM's. My question is, does the lifters pump oil through the rods to the rocker arms or does the oil pump, pump the oil through lifter rods to the rocker arms? What could cause oil pressure to be low?

Can a bend in the canister of a small oil filter cause a loss of oil pressure in the system?

I going to lay tile and the need to lay a subfloor to put the tile down on. The old floor is hard wood, in to bad of a shape to lay tile on. What is the minimum thickness of plywood should I lay?

How can I tell if I bent some valves in this engine? The timing chain slip and the engine went out of timing. Anyone know of a way to verify that I didn't bend any valves? All answers from serious mechanics will be appreciated. Thanks for all inputs guys.

Removed the timing chain cover to change the timing chain. When I removed the cover I found about 5 ball bearings and a small plastic bearing holder. I was hoping that someone knows what it is and where it came from. Thanks for your help

Everytime the key is put in the start position, a 30 amp fuse (Engine) blows. The car set overnight and started the next day, drove it for a day and the problem came back. The fuse is located under the hood, driver side, first fuse on the top, left hand side. I haven't tried a scanner yet, I still trying to get the correct wiring info for the car. With the starter wire disconnected the fuse will still blow. With the relay disconnected it will not blow the fuse. Has anyone had this problem with this car? Thank You, for your inputs.

Code scanners are the way to go but choosing ones is the problem. Are there any code scanners that that you prefer over the others? If so, why did you choose the model that you use.

Changed out engine, Car will start and run for about 1-3 min. then shut down. won't start again for 2-3 min. then the same thing. Replaced the fuel pump and filter, didn't solve the problem. Changed spark plugs same results. Has anyone had a simular problem? Thank you for any help.

When I select a thumbs up or down, the screen just looks at me. I don't get any response, is anyone else having problems with resolved questions?

Changed back brakes, old ones were bad. After installing the new ones, I got a " Traction disable light and ABS light". What would cause this condition? Anyone with this problem in the past? What was your solution? I'am sure that brakes were installed correctley. Thank You

There is a old saying that if you put a chain around a childs neck with a coin attached to it, it will prevent nose bleed. Has anyone tried this and it worked? There are many old remedies that really had some merit. Thank You

Why is it that cops beat the hell out of people, and slam them on the ground. Then when they put them in the car, they tell them to watch their heads?

To retrofit the A/C system for a Ford Areostar, with auxillary air. Is there a differant size A/C fixed orifice needed or can the one for R12 be used for R134a conversion?

I know that the brain uses electrical inpulses to control body functions and the thought process. But without batteries, how can electrical impulses be generated? Is it purely chemical?
