Background: We liked eachother off and on in 7th grade, we are now in 9th.. we stayed friends during that time but now that we are going to the same school I think it could be..

He is sorta shy, but we talk a lot at school even though we don't have classes together, while at swim/running practice, and in the car ride home (we carpool). We both love the same music, and he listened to my ipod with me after school (we sat really close & shared headphones) and said "You have amazinngg music".

We have everything in common. Some days he won't answer my text messages, other days he will give me all his attention.. so I'm sort of confused.

What do you think? How can I tell if he likes me?

My grandma is a very conservative person and I think she would have a heart attack if she found out that I was getting dreadlocks. I've made up my mind about getting them, but I don't know how to tell her and explain to her that they aren't "bad" or "inappropriate"... please help?

Can you help me? I have no idea what an asymptote is or how I find it!

How do I do this problem (step by step please!) ?!

I was replacing the black ink in my printer. (Lexmark X5250). I opened the little tab that allowed me to open the plastic container in the printer with the new ink cartridge. I placed the new cartridge in, and the printer moved the ink cartridges to the ready position. The problem is, I didn't get to close the tab! The ink cartridge containters are in the ready position, under the plastic "roof" of the printer. I can't get to them and I need to close the tabs.

Please help.

How do I do a problem like this:

It shows me a graph of a function and asks me what is the represented function.

some of the answer choices include:

y= | x - 3 | + 8

or

y= - | x + 3 | - 8

I don't remember how to graph functions or find the function equation used in a graph.

Can someone please explain how I would find the function equation used in a graph?

I'm not incredibly good at math, so simple answers would help!
