  • I have a friend who has a son who frequently cries and screams when he has to put on clothes.?

A friend's son has been screaming and crying every time he has to put on clothes. He says the clothes cause him pain, however, he is unable to describe the pain even though he is gifted at communicating and is considered brilliant for his age (9). He has gone to numerous therapists and they are unable to find out what is wrong with him. They feel he is normal. There are no rashes or proof that he is allergic to the clothing. What could be the problem? Doctors have not discovered what the problem is.

  • Do sonar devices work to prevent raccoons from coming into a person's backyard at night?

I have several raccoons that hang around my house at night. I don't want to trap them because I'm scared of raccoons. In addition, there's a possibility that I could accidently catch a skunk, too. If I don't get rid of them, they could eat my pets when I let them out during the day. Do sonar devices work in preventing wild animals from entering a person's yard at night?

  • How do I get rid of crabgrass...naturally?

I have two cats and one seems to love to eat the crab grass. I need to get rid of it because it is taking over the yard and the roots are so deep. How do I get rid of it naturally without using poisions? I don't want to harm my cats by using something unnatural.

  • Why aren't we using sound waves to kill cancer cells?

Rife invented a machine that he claimed could kill unwanted organisms like cancer, viruses, etc. Why hasn't anyone continued exploring this? It makes total sense. He used sound waves to cause the outer walls of cancer cells to burst. This is the claim. I believe he was on to something.

  • I have eating problems. How can I change my ways?

I've been thin all my life but when my mother passed, I gained weight. She died of cancer and I had to witness her decline and suffering. It really affected me so I started eating to numb my pain. Currently, I'm not as depressed as I was but now eat due to the stress of my job and being overworked. I find that I eat, not because I'm hungry but because I don't get enough sleep. I don't seem to have a lot of control due to the bad eating habits I have developed. I've joined a gym and work out daily but can't seem to stop eating. How can I get back on track with my life?

  • Roomate and Weight...help!?

I used to be thin and never had a problem gaining weight. Unfortunately, my brother, who is very dear to me, moved in but I didn't realize he had a severe eating problem until, over time, he gained 200 extra lbs. He currently rents from me, is a good tenant, and is a very kind and sensitive person. The problem I am struggling with is that I like junk food and I eat when I'm depressed (my mom just passed away and my dad has cancer so my depression has gotten worse because for 5 years, I was helping to take care of two households). For the past 8 years, he has brought junk food home and has the worst eating habits I have ever seen. I've talked to him about it numerous times but he doesn't seem to have the self control to stop bringing home such tempting food. As a result from having junk food so accessible, I have gained a hundred pounds. Normally, I would rarely bring junk food home because I know I have a problem with it but now it's just a hand grab away! Currently, despite the problem with food, we get along well and the rent money helps me keep my house. The question is, what would you do in this situation? I'm now going to a gym but having bad food around all the time is too much for me. He lost his job due to downsizing so to ask him to leave would put him on the streets and I can't do that to my brother.

  • How do you handle a coworker who is crazy?

I have a coworker who I suspect is a substance abuser (alcoholic). We used to be friends until she started acting irrationally. During meetings with other coworkers she would text friends, scream at her kids on the phone during the middle of the meetings (happened several times), and be repeatedly disruptive. I tried to talk to her numerous times about meeting etiquette, but to no avail. I was debating on whether I should talk to my boss because the consequences would be an all out war if I did, or say nothing and we would continue having hellish meetings with her inappropriate and constant disruptions. Well, I expressed my thoughts to another coworker who has to deal with her and she insisted that I go to the boss. The meetings were totally out of control and we couldn't accomplish anything with her there.

Unfortunately, I found out she was listening to our conversation and she stormed off. When I tried to talk to her, she started yelling at me and threatening me (blackmail). I tried to talk to her rationally, however, she kept accusing me of everything and didn't listen to a word I said. I naturally went to my boss after the extremely unpleasant encounter and my boss decided to move her to another position. I can't tell you how relieved I am but she is still on the war path. It has been unbearable to work with her the past 5 years and I still will have to deal with her from time to time. I'm worried because this year I have a new boss and she doesn't know this woman is out of control. From her behavior, I suspect she is an alcoholic. What should I do? Stay out of this unpleasant worker's way and wait tell something happens again or fill her in before something does. I'm afraid something will happen but I don't want my new boss to think less of me for telling on a coworker. I don't normally talk to my boss about other coworkers but this situation has been out of control What do you all think? I honestly am depressed having to go back to work and deal with her. I have a short vacation and have to return soon.
