  • Vicodin for teeth. One small champagne at midnight?

I know the vicodin says not to mix with alcohol and I have no intention of boozing it up tonight, but I just had my wisdom teeth out on Thurs, I finally caved and took a vicodin today, couldn't take it any more. I really want to have just a small glass of champagne at midnight. I took the pill at 3:45 this afternoon, if I just go back to plain Ibuprofen instead of thaking another vicodin would it be ok to have that one drink? And if so would it be ok to take another vicodin say 2 hours later, once the alcohol has metabolised?

  • What are some good happy songs in this vein?

Just looking for some more songs with a similar happy contented attitude (don't necessarily have to be country even), especially if they're about happy marriages/happy families. The songs I'm starting from:

Just Another Day in Paradise, Phil Vasser

    Family Tree, Darryl Woorley

    Blessed, Martina McBride

It's a Great Day to Be Alive, Travis Tritt

Fishin' in the Dark, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

Forever and Ever, Amen, Randy Travis

  • Tall, slender/lanky male celebrities?

I'm looking for a picture for an RP and I need a lanky somewhat professorial (geeky but old fashioned geeky) looking celeb. Brown eyes, either brown or red hair, and early to mid thirties are a plus. For an example of what I'm looking for, I was planing on using David Tennant http://hotgeeks.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_%E2%80%A6 (someone else has already used him for an av)

  • New or refurbished laptop?

I'm trying to decide between two laptops - one is new and one is refurbished.

the first one is a new ASUS UL30A-X5 http://www.amazon.com/UL30A-X5-Light-13-3-Inch-Lap... - I've done a lot of research on it and really like a lot of the features and it seems to get mostly good reviews and is reliable which is extremely important as it will be a long time before I can afford to replace it.

the second is a refurbished Asus UL50AG http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTool... it has all the features I was liking plus an internal optical drive which I was really hoping for (I'd have to get an external with the first), it also has good reviews and reliability (though not quite as glowing) and is a bit cheaper

My question is this - I need this laptop to last, hopefully at least 5 years. Does getting a refurbished one automatically knock a year or more off its useful life?
