  • What to look for when choosing a donor for IUI?

My husband and I are seeing and infertility specialist. We will be doing IUI with donor sperm. We think we found a good match. Only thing is it states the donors motility is 30. Is this considered good? What are some other things besides medical history should we be looking for?

What could be wrong with my Subaru?

Changed my oil yesterday only to find my oil looking real dirty and milky. I couldn’t see where my Subaru has been leaking in the garage or on the drive way. I was still like a month out before I needed to change my oil. Yet, my oil light came on and I was super low on oil when I checked it. Hence why I changed it. What could be wrong? Could it be a serious issue?

  • Has anyone had any experience with this?

My husband and I are currently seeing a infertility specialist. Most likely planning on IVF. My doctor called me today to tell me that in my last test they did she and the other doctor think I have a septum going down my uterus. She wants me to come and have the test redone on a certain day on my next period cycle. If it ends up that I do have a septum going down my uterus what are my options? Can it be removed? Could I still have a good chance of getting pregnant with IVF?

  • What are some IVF tips?

My husband and I have our first appointment tomorrow with a infertility specialist. We are leaning towards IVF since our insurance will pay for it. What are some good questions to ask the doctor? I would also like tips and advice on how to prepare to have a more successful IVF cycle.

  • My parents argue all the time..help?

My parents argue at home as well as in public. I have my own place and don’t live with them. Yet, it’s still hard for me to see them argue and embarrassing when they do it in public. My dad has a form of adult autism so, he will do/say some things that are embarrassing at times which makes my mom mad. I try ignoring it. Yet, my mom likes being in control and won’t ever admit when she is in the wrong. I did go to counseling with my parents a few years ago. It did nothing when it comes to my mom. She just thought the counselor was all wrong because she was being asked to make some changes and was explained some of the issues that I struggle with. I have talked to my parents multiple times as well. It helps some with my dad. With my mom it only gets her upset and she finds any reason for someone else to be at fault and not her. Their arguing is tearing my family apart. I hate seeing this because I’m a big family person and love my whole family. My husband and I are even thinking about trying to have kids. This makes me nervous because neither one of us want our future kids around the arguing environment that my parents create.

  • What health insurance does hill AFB Utah offer?

My husband is going to be offered a job up on hill AFB. Through his current employers insurance they will pay up to 25,000 in infertility expenses which is a lot since we have to go through the process of IVF to start our family. I’m curious what healthcare insurance the base currently offers so, I could call and find out if they cover infertility treatments at all.

  • What are some good questions to ask?

My husband and I have an appointment to see my OBGYN tomorrow. We have been trying to get pregnant for 6 years now with no luck. We will be talking about infertility issues and the next steps we should take in starting our family. I have some questions in mind to ask. Just want some more ideas because I am not sure exactly what to expect tomorrow at our appointment. We are both very excited and nervous at the same time.

  • Who is the best infertility doctor in Utah?

We just found out my husbands new insurance will help pay for infertility procedures. Since finding this out we don’t know where to begin. We have been trying to have a baby for the last 6 years with no luck on our own. I’m looking for recommendations with reviews for specialists in Utah.

  • How do people afford to have kids?

My husband and I both work full time and make a decent wage. We have been trying for the last 6 years to have a baby with no luck. We recently got new health insurance that will cover up to $25,000 in infertility treatments. So, we feel like we should take advantage of this. Yet, it scares us to think of how we will make it financially with paying for everything that comes along with a baby. What do people do?

  • What can I do? What could be wrong? ?

I haven’t had solid poop for 1 week now. I have had 1-3 bursts of diarrhea daily. My stomach seems a little bloated. Sometimes I get nauseated when I eat. Normally I poop regularly daily. I try drinking plenty of water and eat my daily fruits and vegetables.

  • How to handle a supervisor?

My husband the last few weeks has been dealing with a supervisor that obviously doesn’t like him. He gets treated poorly and purposely tries getting him in trouble. This supervisor isn’t his direct supervisor even. Today my husband had a meeting with his boss, the dick supervisor, and two other people from the proper chain of command. All the meeting did basically was the supervisor did all he could to make himself look good and told my husband he was taking away all of the certifications he has earned over the last 3 years. What can he do at this point basically?

  • Mortgage payment and credit? ?

How much would my payment be lowered by if my credit score went up 50 points to buy a house? We are in the process of looking for a new house. We were told that with a 685 credit score with spending 285k at 3.5% interest my payment would be 1800. How much would it change my payment if my score went up to 720 even?

  • How to sell a townhouse in a undesirable location?

My husband  and and I are trying to sell our townhome. We have had 14 showings with no offer yet. The feedback we are getting is that potential buyers don’t want waste management behind their property. This is where waste management stores their garbage trucks when they are clean and empty. There is a small yard and 2 fences with one being vinyl between our house and the lot they store there trucks on. If you look pasts the trucks you get gorgeous Mountain View’s. It is 3 bed, 2.5 bath, and a 2 car garage with just under 1600 sq feet. Any suggestions on how we can get potential buyers to oversee this would be very helpful.

  • Best way to bring credit score up?

Currently own a town house and am looking to buy an actual house. Currently my spouse and I have two vehicles with loans, our current mortgage, and a credit card balance less than 30%. We recently paid off one signature loan we had as well as our RC Willey’s account got paid off. Both high balances paid off in full. Our scores are around 660. We need them to be at 700 for a better loan. What would be the best way to get our scores up with out adding new loans?

  • Are tent trailers a good option? ?

My husband and I do a lot of camping. How well do they hold up in wind and rainstorms? We enjoy camping in the Unitas. Yet, it seems to rain a fair amount there. Any other pros and cons?

  • How can I stop my dryer from spinning?

I have an LG dryer. It currently is powered off and will not stop spinning until I open the door. Once I close the door it starts spinning again. I have tried unplugging it and plugging it back on. I have even switched the electrical breaker off and back on again. Still keeps spinning with no heat when off.

  • What can my mom do about seeing a different surgeon for follow up?

My mom recently had a plastic surgeon remove melanoma from her leg. He ended up doing a skin graft as well. Long story short she had quite a bit of excess blood covering her bandage and even in her boot. I told her to see if the office had a on-call surgeon where it was after hours. She ended up talking to the surgeon that did her surgery. All he did was yell at her and tell her everything she wasn’t doing that really she had been and continues to be doing. He didn’t believe her. Her post surgery appointment is in a couple of days and she really is not happy with him and would like to see a different doctor.

  • How do I get my puppy to quit chewing on my furniture?

I have a 7 month old labradoodle (female). She is very sweet and loving. We have taken her through 12 weeks of puppy training through Petco which she did really well with. This last week she has started chewing on furniture. We give her plenty of toys for her to play with. We even have another dog who she plays with as well. We have tried the bad apple spray. It works for a short time and then doesn’t phase her. We have also tried giving her raw hides to chew on. Whenever we go places she comes with us and we do our best to give her lots of attention and take her on daily walks. I am just so frustrated because furniture isn’t cheap to replace.
