  • Has anyone else experienced this with their dog? Dog suddenly ill and no clue why.?

We took our dog in for her first-ever dental cleaning and in the week or two after, she developed some serious eye boogies and eye redness. We read that it could be normal due to her being under anesthesia but as they were not going away, we took her back to the vet and he gave us eye drops and some antibiotics just in case. Then she suddenly took a turn for the worse. She began to have trouble moving around and is very slow when just days prior, she was going on two miles walks with no problem and was super energetic. She also began to run a fever as well and has had diarrhea. As of today, she has no appetite at all even with her favorite foods. The vet has run blood work and done some basic tests but nothing is turning up. Has anyone encountered this with their dog and knows what may have caused it? She just turned 6 so it's not like she's an old lady either. It's just super worrying as she went from happy girl bouncing around to can barely get up. We have other tests scheduled but we can't get in for at least a month.

  • My dog won't take her pills?

My dog has been sick for about a week and half now and she has a fever. We were told to give her half a tylenol to bring the fever down. The problem: the little asshole won't take it. We've tried hiding it in cheese, in lunch meat, in hollowed-out carrots, and in pill pockets. She either refuses to eat the food or just spits the pill out after eating the food. When we try to just stick it in her mouth, she clenches her teeth so tight we can't pry them open. I don't know what to do and I'm really worried about her.

  • Can Saniderm be worn on a plane?

I'm just not sure since I'm guessing the fluid amount is TSA compliant, but would the pressure of being on a plane cause an issue with the saniderm?

  • Tax Question?

So in 2020, I purchased a tattoo permit so I could get a piece of art tattooed on me with the artist's permission. The thing is, that the permit actually enacts as a donation to an orphanage and shows up as so on the receipt and the artist sends a separate email later giving the permit. Can this be used as a write off since it technically was a donation to a charity?

  • Microblading v. Botox?

I have very thick, eyebrows already but they are quite flat. They are very low practically touching the tops of my eyes. I also have very hooded eyes giving me a somewhat caveman appearance (I literally have a high percentage of neanderthal dna) and eternal ***** face. I want to try and raise them but I am unsure which would be better. I know microblading can help shape eyebrows better but botox can actually lift them up. I just don't which one would have longer-lasting results and would be the most cost-efficient. It's something I am super self-conscience about and I'm just trying to weigh different otions.

  • Can parents refuse to give a child citizenship?

If you are US citizen for example, you have to pay taxes. It doesn't matter if you don't live in the United States anymore or never have, you have to pay taxes. Say a Canadian couple was on vacation in California when the wife went into early labor. Because that child was born in the US, they are a citizen even though they will live in Canada. Can the parents refuse citizenship on behalf of the child so the child doesn't have to worry about paying taxes to a country they've never lived in? I know there are some "accidental americans" who were unaware they had to pay taxes and ended up dealing with a lot of issues later on in life. You can renounce your own citizenship as an adult but can a parent make that decision for the child?

  • Looking for scary children's book and it is NOT Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark or any of it's spinoffs.?

I found this book when I was about in 4th or 5th grade. The book had the occasional illustration thrown in. I only remember two stories in particular. The first was the Native American Deer Woman and the other was the story where a bride is playing hide and seek on her wedding night and hides in a trunk only to die and be found years later. I cannot really remember any other stories from that book other than like I said, they were all scary.

  • Can I claim parking fees for taxes?

I attend college in a major city where there is no free parking at the college if you commute so I must pay for private parking each day to go to school. Can I claim this as part of my tax expenses related to education or no.

  • Trying to find a short horror film from youtube?

It involved a weird man with a too big smile dropping off a cabinet to a couple which contained like a pink baby monster that the woman chose to adopt. I have no idea what it was called and am trying to use it for something.

  • Oily skin makeup help?

My skin is super oily and my makeup just melts off my face. I use moisturizer (for oily/combo skin), let it sit for a minute or so, then primer, same with letting it set into my skin, kat von d foundation and after that's done setting in, I use loose translucent setting powder, then eyes, brows etc. I finish it off with urban decays setting spray and still my makeup looks awful a couple hours in. Is there a holy grail primer I'm not using or is there just a step I'm missing. I feel super embarrassed when I go out and look splotchy later in the day. Any tips?

  • Are there different military schools for different military branches?

I don't mean military school for adults like college, I mean for teenagers. This has nothing to do with sending someone to military school, I was just watching Cadet Kelly and was curious.

  • How much money should I take with me on vacation?

In May or June my family is going to florida for about two weeks. We are going to be spending about three days at Universal and the rest is just beach days and house hunting for my parents. Now, I am a big Harry Potter fan as is my sister and I was wondering how much money I should bring for souvenirs from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I work at Kohl's and am in college but I am debt free at the moment and I'm not really buying anything this year that would make me take out much money so my paycheck keeps building so I can save up for the vacation.

  • Looking for new books?

I want thought provoking books that will make me stare at the novel afterwards still taking it all in. I have read,

    Eleanor and Park

    Tell the Wolves I'm Home

    The Night Circus

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

And yes, I have read the John Green novels and hated Looking for Alaska.

I DON'T WANT ANY SARAH DESSEN BOOK OR NICHOLAS SPARKS!!!

I also do not want any cheap romance books or sci-fi novels like Divergent and Hunger Games.

Also, I was not a fan of If I Stay so please don't suggest that.

I want heartbreak. I want to cry. I don't want a poorly written novel written for the sake of marketing to teenagers.

  • Question about the Hunger Games?

I always see people on Tumblr complaining about how they white washed Katniss because she was supposed to be black. In the book she is described as Olive Skin which by definition means "Olive skin describes a skin color spectrum that is frequent among populations from Southern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Central Asia, North Africa and parts of the Horn of Africa." Now, I always imagined Katniss like of Italian descent because that made the most sense considering her sister is just as pale as her mother and blonde/blue eyed. I know a lot of Italian people who either have the Olive coloring or have the pale skin and blonde hair. Would it even be possible for Prim to have these features if her father was black? I think it would just be weird for Katniss to have his coloring but Prim wouldn't and would solely look like her mother. Did anybody else picture Katniss just having a tanned skin tone rather than black?

What hairstyles would go good with my face?

I'm pretty sure I have a square face and I was wondering what type of hairstyle would go good with it. I have curly hair and I want short hair and I would be willing to straighten it everyday but I'm not sure if it would flatter my face. If short hair wouldn't look good, what other hairstyles would go good with my face and with curly hair?
