Has anyone else had a parcel from China considerably delayed by "Transport to DSTK"?
The parcel has been sent by an eBay seller in China. They did actually quote a long delivery time but the last tracking event on 22 November is "Transport to DSTK". Does anyone know what this means?

I've sent a non-commercial parcel of Christmas gifts to my son in Japan by DHL. It is 30 November and the parcel has been stuck in Hong Kong since 26 November. DHL has informed me that the delay in sending the parcel on to Japan is due to Hong Kong customs carrying out a "security inspection". Is this a normal procedure? I cannot understand what interest they would have in a parcel that isn't being imported and is merely in transit to another country.

It is a fact that badgers (not at risk of extinction) eat hedgehogs (at risk of extinction in the UK). I've noticed that hedgehogs have disappeared from my garden since badgers started visiting. Isn't it time to start culling badgers to protect our hedgehogs?

The Trump administration has said that a UK/US trade deal depends on the UK supporting US foreign policy against the communist government in China, by abandoning the agreement for Huawei to supply part of the UK's 5G network for example. What else will the Trump administration demand? Support for US aggression against Iran? Support for Israel's occupation of Arab lands? And could the UK yet have to accept US poultry and meat produced to lower hygiene and animal welfare standards?

Isn't it worrying that the PM naively believes "public transport operators will also be following COVID-secure standards"?
Particularly when he is encouraging "anyone who can’t work from home, for instance those in construction or manufacturing" to go to work.
It doesn't take a genious to realise that public transport operators like TfL have no chance of following "COVID-secure standards" and once again essential workers like NHS staff will be forced to travel on crowded trains with non-essential workers like construction workers. Trains were already crowded this morning.

I have bought several items on eBay recently that have been delivered by Royal Mail when the tracking on eBay has said nothing more than a tracking number has been provided (just meaning a delivery service had been ordered) and Royal Mail tracking has not located the item even though it has been delivered. Has Royal Mail suspended tracking items of mail?
