lets say that I been working full time and my gross salary is 800 dolars, my net salary is about 650 dolllars. hwo do we call the medical insurance, retirements scheme etc which are witheld from my salary ?..deductions or fringe benefits ?

which one is correct ? for me the most natural way is to say " IN SUMMER NEXT YEAR" but I have seen some people who had written "in the summer of the next year. now Its puzzling for me

If the first sentence is righ then opption as :

..in spring last year

..in summer last year.

..are acceptable and correct or ??

..which one is correct or what would be the most suitable sentence to say that yesterday I decided to go to work by bike rather than walk.

What is the diffrence when I say :

I waited for a friend of mine for one hour

I waited for a friend of mine for an hour.

They both seems the same to me but Im not native speaker.
