A fragile flower, quivering bloom
Beauty most perfected
Quivering in a fragile wind
God's own hand selected
A fragile heart, beating life
Flowing through the being
Beating love to warming arms
Quickening to those seeing
A fading flower, withering bloom
Dying with the season
Withering in a winter's cold
God's own wisest reason
A fading heart, faltering life
Seeping out, forever bleeding
Faltering love to indifferent arms
Turning from the needing
I think I wrote this after one of those ghastly teenage heartbreaks. Don't it make you cringe!
