I am doing research for a chemistry project that involves explaining how DNA has had an impact on the environment, any help would be much appreciated! :)

Hi, I am researching coal mining for homework and I can't seem to find any information that is relevant to what I'm looking for. So I was wondering;

- What were the main coal mining areas of Scotland?

- Why is coal mining no longer a big employer of people in these areas?

- What would life have been like for a coal miner around the 1960s?

If you could answer any of them that would be great! I know I should really be doing this myself but I have been researching for hours and this is my last resort! Thanks :)

I am doing a school project on natural gases, this includes how they are used in various countries around the world - Scotland being one of them! If you know how they're used in Scotland or anything else about natural gases please answer!:)

I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop running Windows XP. Recently my sound has stopped working. No system sounds work, no sounds work on any programs or online, there is no sound coming from the laptop whatsoever.

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I am saving up for an Apple computer for myself and I was wondering which one you think would be best for me. I am either getting the 13 Inch MacBook Pro or the 21.5 Inch iMac (none of these with the retina display) as they are both similar prices.

The thing I like about the pro is that it's portable, whereas the iMac isn't. But the iMac is much bigger than the pro.

So if you could give me some good and bad things about each or recommend which one is best that would be great! Also, how well does The Sims 3 (+ expansion packs) run on a mac?

I have also recently started watching One Tree Hill but I have just finished the first season, I am trying to go slowly with One Tree Hill as I don't have a clue what I'm gonna watch afterwards!

So based on the list of shows I like, I was wondering if you could recommend any for me that include similar themes or that you think I would like?
