my boyfriend has always loved cars, and it didn't bother me so much at first because it's his hobby and he loves it, he's training to be a mechanic and recently got a job with a car firm. But the other day we were out for a walk, and he says "by the way, my car is my priority" just randomly out of the blue. I'd mentioned to him before that I didn't like how he seemed to like cars more than me, but that sentence just seemed to confirm it. I'm kind of annoyed that he likes a machine more than someone that's been dating him for nearly a year. I'm not sure how to go about trying to make him realise that cars are just a hobby but I'm something that has feelings and that they're not really comparable. I really don't want to dump him, but it really hurt my feelings to find out that im just second best compared to a load of metal...

I'm 18, I live in the UK and I want to go to Canada next summer for 3 months to work, and live with my Aunt and Uncle. I'm a full time student, and I'm not sure if I need a work permit since I read that full-time students don't need one but I think that's for international students that are students in Canada. I've also read that there are some jobs that don't require a permit such as health care but I want a job in a cafe, pub or small business. Also, how long do permits last for? Depending on how much I like working there, I might go back the following year depending on money.

When I'm on Tumblr or Google Docs, if I want to click on a link say someones blog or a document, Chrome opens a new tab but it redirects to an advert such as William Hill or some crappy website to win a free iPad or whatever. I want to know how to stop it. I've deleted all extensions that I don't recognise and have only left on Adblock, Google Docs and Tumblr Savior. Please help me, it's really really really annoying and it means I can't access my docs

I want to be able to connect to Nintendo WiFi so that I can trade Pokemon on Pokemon Platinum. I have a 3DS, and I have gone onto my internet settings, turned on WEP key and now it connects. However, it only connects for about 10 seconds before cutting out and I think it's because my firewall is blocking the DS's connection to the internet, despite having perfect internet signal. Can anyone please help me by telling me how to change my firewall so I can get on Nintendo WiFi?

I'm running Windows 7 and have a Netgear router, just in case I have to tweak some other internet settings to make it work.

Nintendo is such a pain. Ugh.

In Maple Leaf Rag (http://www.mutopiaproject.org/ftp/JoplinS/maple/ma... bar 7, there are notes above rests in the right hand. What does this mean, since the semi-quaver wouldn't be held on during the other notes? Does it mean that the notes that are played are played shorter, but not as short as staccato?

I know it's a bit random, but if, say, you died and your baby was left in the jungle and found by apes, would he become one of the apes or would the apes just leave the baby to die? And, if the baby was adopted by them, learn their ways or would the person still act human by standing on 2 feet, etc? I'm not deliberately being stupid, just a thought

I installed the driver (MotioninJoy) and the vibrate button works when I press it, but I'm not sure how to calibrate it to work on games that I want to play - namely Left4Dead2 and Limbo on Steam. Can anyone help me and tell me how to calibrate it? I'm running Windows 7. Thank you. :)

I have a 3ds and it's connected to the Internet fine but when I try and get my friend code it won't work. I go onto changes then connection one and I find my router fine but when I enter in my password it says invalid even though it's perfect. And I've tried routing it up manually but again it says invalid. Any suggestions to help fix this little niggle? It's really annoying... :(

I have an iPhone, but it really drives me crazy with its lag and slowness. It's an iPhone 3G and its on a £10 a month contract on vodafone. I have my previous phone that's so much better (Nokia c3) and I'm just wondering if I changed the sim over to my Nokia, will I still be able to do the things I was able to do with my iPhone (unlimited texts, 3G etc) or will it be changed to suit my nokia? Or will I be charged on top of my contract? Or will I be getting charged another £10 contract for it? Aahhh! Help!?

ive installed all of the games and expansion packs, but whenever i try to play it the cd makes a whirring noise... the picture comes up, disappears again and the whirring stops. why is it doing this and how can i get it to run?

I've wanted to make a new website on Piczo but the problem is... it wont let me. when I type in a website name is says 'the site name is not available' and ive typed in EVERYTHING from a jumble of random words to things like 'donnerkebab' and 'knifesforksandspoons'.

Is anyone else having this problem? what do I do? thanks :)

Okay, so Ive accidentally gone and killed Hildara Mothril which is someone I need to talk to in order to progress in the theives mission that im on... ( the one about a ring ) is there any way to bring her back or have I just screwed up the mission and won't be able to finish it? I have no save slots before I killed her and even though she's dead the marker still shows her as green even though she's on the floor. I'm on the ps3. Please help.

My mum recently rebooted her laptop and got the new iTunes for it and when I put a CD in to import it it comes up with Track 1 Track 2 Track 3 etc... and before the new iTunes it used to come up with all the names and artists without me typing them in individually. Any suggestions on how to get the names back because there's no way I'm typing in the names and artists for about 500 songs XD Also I don't know half of them without the CD case which I don't have...

It's just been on my mind lately but I don't really know what group I'm associated with to be honest... I often get told that I'm funny but I have to hang about with all the freaks which is who I don't want to be associated with. I have straight brown hair with red streaks but it sometimes looks like it's dark brown or even black making me look emo. I like a whole range of music but not death metal or screamo or whatever. I have a few friends but sometimes I think that the more popular people think I'm one of those gothy emo type freaks you get. I'm not unpopular but I'm not loved by everyone either

I have abosulutely no idea what type of genre of music i like to listen to. I like some of the new songs in the charts, but they all sound the same. I like Chemical Brothers, Eminem, Lily Allen, the Script... a whole range of music but I have no idea what genre is for me!! Can someone please help me out :)

Ive recently made a new friend and we get on quite well together even though we dont have much in common (im a virgo hes a taurus so that means were compatible... right?)

Well we do talk a lot and stuff and he keeps on talking about love and stuff. It started off when I was watching romeo and juliet and i said it was the kissing scene n he was asking if i liked kissing. then about a day after he started asking if any of my friends had had sex. He also talk about hugging. A few mights ago we were playing the question game and he said that he wouldnt want to die a virgin. He also said he would take me on an island if he could lol.

Does this mean he wants to kiss me? Or is it he just feels comfy talking to me about this sort of thing? Or is it both?

I wouldnt mind giving him a hug though.

I'm currently a dragon on Second Life.. and I've not played it for a while. I don't want to be a dragon anymore, and when I try and make a new account it says it's unavailable. I have no Linden Dollars and have no intention on buying any since my mum probably wont let me buy some lol
