  • How to make online video game reviews?

Quite recently I've had this urge to make video game reviews, of older games, newer ones... not that I'm looking to become famous from it, I just wanna do it because I want to talk about the games I used to play as a kid and hopefully...do a good job of it.

Now if you look at the following link for a minute:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Fu6k5ZXWLY&feature...

How do you create a video like this? I want it with video, sound... and obviously my own voice over the top...

What programs would you use to create such a video ? I'm not really bothered about the cost, but if you can give me a list of programs you'd need to create a video such as this that'd be awesome. I know I could probably do it in Windows Movie Maker but I'm not really sure on using that if it doesn't allow me to make decent vids.

Anyway, any information would be awesome... thanks :)

  • I recently hit a car! Need some advice.?

A few days ago I stupidly reversed into a car and it got a minor dent. After speaking to the chap who I hit he's agreed to let me pay for the damages, without going through the insurance company - he says he's had the repairs quoted at £250, which at the time, I thought it'd be a lot more than that so I'm more than willing to pay these costs.

As we're not going through any official channels, I should obviously write a receipt or contract or something which stipulates that once they've signed it, the matter is closed - once the money is handed over.

Is this legal? And would this hold up for future reference, as I'm wanting to cover myself on this. They seem like legitimately nice people, so I've no reason to believe I'm wrongly placed my trust in them. I'm looking for advice on the "receipt / contract" part of this, really.

I need to know that if I have them sign this, and it's dated...etc... (if you could help me with what would need to be on this, that'd be a great help as well) would that be fine to keep for future reference, in case it bites me in the *** a few weeks down the line?

    Thanks in advance.

  • What rights do I have in my work place?

Ever since I started my current job, it's been a bit of a nightmare... And the boss is, well... exploitative of his employee's.

My question is: I wasn't made to sign any contract when I started work here, so I want to know what rights do I have concerning my work - what am I obliged too, and what can I demand - or is it a question of, I have no rights... I should walk.

I only ask, cause in the next few weeks the big boss is going to 'make' us sign a contract wavering our rights concerning a 48hr working week. Basically saying, we should work more - for the same pay. Nice, eh? I guarantee if we don't sign it, we get fired. And he'll fire us on the grounds that we're a bad worker, or something as ridiculous as this.

Can anyone give me some 'legal' advice concerning what can be done about this? Or what 'rights' I have, concerning the status of my working life... as I'm unsure to where I stand, as I never signed any contract agreeing to anything.

  • What is the part of the car called on the passenger side which you can hold on to. It's above the car door...?

A friend asked me this question and I realised I didn't have an answer. Does it even have a name? I'm curious - and mainly because she needs the word for a story she's writing, I said I'd help her find the answer. Anyways... yeah, it's the part just above where the car door is, on the INSIDE obviously... and you hold on to it. What's it called?

  • Can anyone answer this riddle? My friend is bugging me...?

Beauty and love rose but fell,

A harvest reaped I could not sell,

The sun broke at the end of day,

And moonshine went its nightly way,

The war ended when I came,

I fell with thunder, not in shame.

    who am I?
