  • what are these symptoms?

i've been b/f for 9 months now. no period whatsoever. three days ago and still today i've been having back pain and period like cramps with no bleeding, spotting, nothing. however i have a lot of discharge. thin, watery like egg whites. my nipples are tender but that's probably because of the extra pumping (i normally don't pump but a four day vacation is coming up and i need to pump out milk for my son). took 4 HPT and all came back negative. any suggestions for what could be going on? is my period coming back? am i pregnant? am i ovulating? don't know what to think, help!

  • breastfeeding and pregnant?

i've been bf my son for 9 months now and just in the past few days i've been having cramps and lower back pains. just like i'm going to start my period, however i've been absent of a period since i conceived my son (yea me!). so now i don't know what's going on. my milk supply has seemed to slow down. not sure if that means i could be pregnant. is it too early to take a test? my nipples feel fine, i'm tired more than usual...oh and i'v had an increase in discharge. could this mean anything. oh...my husband is gone on a deployment and the last time we had unprotected sex was just a few weeks ago and possibily sometime in june...help!

  • Can your water break at any time?

I am due tomorrow with baby #3 and my doctor said I was only one centimeter dilated and I am going to be induced this coming Monday if baby stays in. So my question is since I am only one centimeter dilated is it possible to have my water break with little progress? I am having little to no contractions (obviously) and I'm so desperate to get him out. The only thing I've been doing is walking all the time for at least one hour or more and I'm exhausted! Any advice or maybe just some labor dust? Thanks ladies!!!

  • Contractions will not get stronger?

i've been having contractions since yesterday around 3:41pm almost every 5 minutes apart, give or take. today they are finally starting to hurt but when are they going to get serious so i can go to the hospital? i'm also feeling pressure more than usual...do they have to become more painful and increase at regular intervals? it's been 24 hours with this going on, what can i do to get the contractions to stay and go hard? (some are very painful).

  • I think this is labor starting?

I could not be more excited! Well ok may be I could, but earlier today I went for a long walk with my two children in the stroller, I'd say close to 4 miles. I was walking to my sister's house across town hoping all that work would pay off tonight and I think it's going to. I can home after visiting (she dropped us off back at home) I soon started to have braxton hicks which I started timing at 3:41pm. They have been coming almost every 5 minutes apart for the last three hours and I have noticed around hour number two that my back is acting up. I have not been sitting still either, I've purposefully been doing laundry, cleaning, taking out trash, last minute things and doing it with a lot of energy! Nesting instinct...for sure. They have not gone away and it's safe to say they have been getting worse. I experienced all this with my second daughter and the next night I was holding her in my arms. So do you ladies think this is it for me? I sure hope it is. I'm still tracking the braxton hicks contractions but it's kinda lame because marking down the time every 5 minutes is a bit tedious. Wish me some more labor dust! I'm due in 4 days....!

  • What was your bloody show like, still confused?

i went pee and the toilet water was brownish red in color. i didn't see any kind of mucus in the toilet at first glance when i flushed. i got up to flush and was shocked by the color but i had already pushed the handle as it was going down, i didn't get a good long look. anyways, i'm still wondering why the water was that color because i didn't have any blood or anything on my toilet paper. does the bloody show have to contain mucus too because i'm not sure what all this was? i'm 39 weeks pregnant too. thanks ladies.

  • 39 weeks and blood in the toilet?

it's 4:35am here in texas and my husband just left for his drill weekend (navy reserves). after he kissed me good bye i couldn't sleep so i got up and went pee. i didn't look in the toilet before i sat down but when i got up to flush i noticed the water was all brown/red like maybe i had dripped blood into the toilet. i'm not having contractions or pain and i'm not really sure if the color of the water was from me at all! maybe it could have been the color of my pee? i've never had that color of pee before...but i'm not really sure if i did bleed or not. there was also NO blood on the toilet paper. could it be possible that when i wiped i would get nothing but still would have bleed into the toilet? i know i keep repeating myself but i'm just not sure if that brown/red colored water came from me. and if it did what is it and what should i look for next? thanks ladies!

  • 39 weeks and not dilated at all?

This is baby #3 and he has dropped. My cervix is soft but my doctor checked me today and there is no dilation. I'm sorta bummed because I've been walking everyday but still nothing. Could I go into labor at any time just like that or do I have to dilate? I feel very nauseous all of a sudden too, blah. Any women go through this not being dilated and then out of no where go into labor? Please give me hope...

39 weeks pregnant with baby #3 and my doc sees me every tuesday. well this tuesday he checked me and said he wants to see me this friday, tomorrow. i didn't even think to ask why. brain fart i guess. but now i'm curious. could it be that i am not making any progress and he wants to strip my membranes... or maybe the opposite and he wants to send me to the hospital? i'm just curious to what you ladies think of him wanting to see me early. thanks ladies!

  • 39 weeks and my doctor wants to see me in just a few days?

I usually have my weekly appointments every Tuesday but when he checked me this Tuesday he said he wanted to see me Friday instead. Why would that be? My due date is not until next Wednesday. I know you're probably thinking why didn't I just ask him but it slipped my mind until I was already gone.....oops. Any thoughts on why he wants to see me so early? I've lost my mucus plug and the baby is ready to come, he's engaged and I'm dilated some. Thanks!

  • How long after dropping did your baby come?

This my third baby (finally a boy) and he's been so low for a week. Today everyone at church was commenting on how low it was and they thought I would go into labor SOON. Well nothing... and I'm tired of hearing about it. When you dropped how far away was your labor?

  • Has labor started or is it near?

I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my third baby and I woke up this morning with some back and tummy aches that would not go away. It wasn't really like a contraction more like just an ongoing ache in both places. And now I am experiencing braxton hicks at regular intervals and some of them are painful. Not painful enough for me to know what's going on. I've been timing them and it seems to be they are 7-10 minutes apart and they each last one minute or just under that. Do you think labor could be soon, that would be great! Thanks ladies.

  • do braxton hicks help to dilate you?

Or do they just squeeze your belly to get you ready for the real ones? just wondering... 38 weeks and counting........

  • Can your mucus plug come out more as discharge?

What I mean is I hear a lot about clumps of goo and what-not, but I've been experiencing a thicker/yellowish type of discharge. I am 38 weeks pregnant with my third baby (finally a boy!) and my doctor told me on Tuesday that my cervix was soft. Any thoughts ladies? Thanks so much.
