  • Who is so narrowminded that they report a non question I posted congratulating team USA?

As a life long hockey fan, I posted a non question(I added a question mark)giving my congrats to team USA for their win last night and congratulating our boys for a great tournament. Jeez Louise, great hockey is great hockey. Whoever you are, you are a sore loser and no fan of the game itself.

  • Obama's school speech?

I am not trying to be rude here but how on Earth can a speech advocating staying in school and working hard for the betterment of yourself, your community and your Country get so skewed to the point "responsible" parents didn't want their kids to hear it. Has the fear from the Bush years pushed your great nation that far that even common sense is lost?

  • Kudos to the Hawks and thanks to Vancouver?

Not a question, congrats Chicago, good looking young team you have there. At the same time, thanks Vancouver for looking past the Blackhawks.

  • Down to 2?

Congrats to both the Wings and Pens. I'm wasting 10 pts or whatever to say kudos to Philly for their year as well as Dallas for their great run as well. Without my Oilers, this year has been tough to cheer anyone but Philly has made some great advances with a young core but Pittsburgh is no older. Finals should be interesting. Detroit in 6.

  • If a young leaf fan wanted older hockey cards?

I have a Calgary fan using an Oiler avatar for the next 30 days for some old doubles I have, what would be appropriate to sorta embarrass a leaf fan, I'm thinking a Buffalo avatar. Any ideas? Have fun with this, I am.

  • Wrist fusion?

A missed torn ligament in the center of my wrist is now gone and I had 4 bones removed instead of a fusion. Has anyone here had a bone fusion done on their wrist? I cannot twist my wrist under any kind of strain and may need to have the wrist fused for stability. Would like to know if anyone has had the fusion done to alleviate pain on the side of the wrist. Thank you.

  • "Military Commissions Act"?

Love to hear how Bush supporters feel about losing your right to a fair and speedy trial. And the clause that protects Bush and others who may have authorized torture and other human rights violations. 9-11 TERRORISTS DESERVE NO MERCY. I'd love to hear how you'd feel if Bush decided YOU were an enemy combatant and the Act allows him to do just that.

  • How can Americans allow this to happen?

This past Tuesday, President Bush signed into law the "Military Commissions Act". This allows Bush to arbitrailly declare ANYONE, including U.S. citizens an unlawful enemy combatant, without charge or trial for the duration of the "War on Terror". He can subject captives to strenuous interrogation(torture?) The Act also provides amnesty for U.S. officals , including Bush and others who may have authorized torture, murder or other human rights violations. Whatever happened to the U.S. Constitution? Corruption, war, lies and indifference to human misery are the hallmarks of this administration. Land of the free? Only if it is okay with Bush. And now we find out Bush was authorizing illegal wiretaps before 9-11. And all this in the greatest democracy the world has ever seen. How can you let this happen?

  • Unreal. Exactly what would Bush have to do before people would say enough is enough?

I was watching the replay of his interview with Wolf Blitzer where he stated he would order troops into Pakistan if he had good intelligence saying Bin Laden was there. What if Russia or China was where Bin Laden was hiding? Are no borders safe? I coulda swore Pakistan is an ally. No wonder the rest of the world is calling Bush another Hitler, or the "devil". Could we not ask Pakistan first instead of pissing off another country? Anyway, are hundreds more of our sons and daughters going to die invading an ally?
