Antonio
I was sat on a park bench weeping profusely following the death of my father in 1986. Feeling that life would never again be worth living and seriously contemplating joining my pater when I caught sight of an ant. Drinking from one of my fallen tears… The solitary creature didn’t look so tiny in my mind’s eye and as he drank from his lake. It dawned on me how foolish I was for deciding to end a life when this creature, may have died of thirst on that hot summer’s day had I not been there. Of course, the ant knew nothing of my sorrow, only that he needed a drink but I. Am so grateful, that I was able to oblige. Even if I might have chosen a happier way of learning a lesson. Humility… Is a treasure indeed! Judge me as the man I am. Not the enemy, I have never been!

Head for the Plaza de Constitucion then look for and follow the signs for the post office. There is a yellow sign on the wall of the building. Across the square is the 'bar del portales'
3 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoI need travel advice please...?
I have perforated eardrums and I get a lot of pain if I get water in either ear. But no problems otherwise.
I'm booked on a flight to Spain and need to know if I should take any precautions because of cabin pressure or changing altitude etc?
1 AnswerOther - Destinations1 decade agoA witches advice to her son, also a witch!?
If you had a son who was a witch. What would be the most essential/practical advice you would give him. With regards to female witches the male/female 'mating game' in particular but relationships in general to.
Would it differ from that you might give a daughter and if so, why?
9 AnswersMythology & Folklore1 decade agoTo be, or ne'r to be. That... Is the question?
Do you believe it's possible to fall in love with someone you meet online? Does your heart race in their absence and your emotions are as conflicting, if not worse, than if you had met him/her in the flesh...
Can love be true to the virtual kiss?
6 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoAre there any native americans on here?
If so. Would you be willing to tell me about your peoples and culture?
I am especially interested in affinity with nature and the spiritual connotations of that relationship. I have sourced online reference material, such as it is. But I suspect, that much of that is rather biased and I would rather have first hand account, as part of my studies.
I know this may be a long shot. But, thanks in advance anyways.
6 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoI asked a question recently and in my asked Q's list...?
It says there is 1 answer. But when I check it out, there isn't 0ne!
Does Y!A Have a hole in it?
4 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoI'm trying to pin the title of the song and the recording artist from these lyrics.?
I know it's country by genre and I thought it might be titled A rodeo clown by 'Moe Bandy' but I can't pin this down from dear old blighty... Online search just throws up 'Bandy the rodeo clown' by this artist.
The introductory verse is:
They paved the streets o' hollywood
with promises and lies,
an' he met has beens that once looked good
and girls, with empty eyes.
With rhinestone suits an' wooden indians
everywhere yuh turn,
I could write a book, about the road I took
and the lessons that I learned...
If someone can confirm the artist and title so I can buy a copy. Or post/message the lyrics. I'd be so very grateful.
Many Thanks.
2 AnswersCountry1 decade agoWhy doesn't the media ever discuss our two-tier democracy?
Why Is one form of democracy good for the UK judicial system and yet for political purposes, we have another?
What would happen, if the judicial system were implemented as the cornerstone of the political system?
1 AnswerMedia & Journalism1 decade agoSo what happens when we get to level 7?
Is there a level 7 squared or cubed or something???
9 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoIs it the spanish half of me that's shivering? Or is the irish half feeling it too?
I'm in Birmingham UK and it's bliddy freezing!!!
What's it like for you?
9 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoSocrates and his protegee Plato. Provided a veritable banquet for the thinking man...?
But what's the 'thinking' woman's perspective?
Is there one and does it significantly differ?
Perhaps philosophy and it's meanderings are equally relevant to both genders... But is this in fact true, or has a perspective been missed out either by design, or by accident.
I have deliberately left out any preconceived reference point to avoid bias.
6 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoHave you ever received a 'Best Answer' award, but wish you could give the points back?
I found myself in this position recently... A questioner obviously gave the 'award' purely on the grounds of what they wanted to read. Not what was actually written!
Does anyone else have similar examples?
7 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWould any non-thelemic witches like to contribute content or ideas for a new website?
The project will have an 'open-door policy to ALL practitioners of the craft but. There is to be a secluded area for 'maverick' witches and those who shun the 'modern' way.
If anyone has any coding, web-admin, moderation or other related skill expertise and would like to help us reach out to the all but forgotten traditionalist and other groups... Your imput, would be most welcome.
6 AnswersMythology & Folklore1 decade agoWhere's the first reference to the 'rule of 3' in witchcraft?
I'm conducting historical research into this subject and need traceable reference documentation if possible.
