  • Can't resubscribe to JPG?

I subscribed to JPG Magazine in January 2008, I'm pretty sure I only subscribed for a year, and since I haven't received the latest issue, I think my subscription is up.

Anyway, I went to the site to try to resubscribe but when I got to http://www.jpgmag.com/subscribe/ I just get a page with the message "Doo Dee Do. Sorry, the page you're looking for could not be located."!!

Can anyone help me out with this??

    Thanks!

  • Which is grammatically correct?

Should it be Opticians or Optician's? Hairdressers or Hairdresser's etc?

As in, is the 's' there because of the collective people or because the business is that of the optician/hairdresser?!

Or is it both and it should be Opticians'/Hairdressers'?!

I'm a bit of a grammar nazi but I never know which it is!

    Thank you!

Were you brought up without religion?

  • Why does this happen?

ok, this is probably going to sound a bit silly but...

Twice, once today and once a few years ago, I've banged one of my fingers really hard and ended up nearly fainting. The first time a very fast travelling cricket ball hit it and the second the top of a trouser press (which is on a spring) closed on it.

I didn't break them or anything, and though it hurt quite a lot it was for no more than 5 minutes and I knew I was ok so I didn't panic...but I ended up feeling really dizzy and going weak for about half an hour after, even once the pain had gone.

Does anyone know why my body reacts like this??

  • A festive joke?

    Hope you like = )

There were 3 men making their way to a stable by following the light of a star to see a baby. When they reached the stable they went in, one by one, but as the last one entered he whacked his head on the doorframe as he was very tall and exclaimed "Jesus Christ!"

The mother of the baby, Mary, turned to Joseph and said "Hey, let's call him that! It's better than Clive"

  • What's that word?

I've been trying to think of a word but I just can't remember what it is!

Sort of the same meaning as flexible. For example, if an actor could play any kind of part they'd be a..something..actor..?

    Thanks for any answers!
