How to ignore judgments?
I am a 23 year old girl with a sister that is 10 years older than me, for many years I have considered her my best friend; however, in the past few years of growing as a young woman I have tried to become a better person in every way. One thing I found I use to do judge on a regular but unnecessary basis. Now, that I have consciously realized that I try every day to not make judgments or put people down (even if they are just thoughts), but my sister is very very judgemental. When I sit back and think about things I know I wouldn’t be her friend if she weren’t my sister. I tend to surround myself with good influences, and she is not one in this way.
I am stuck in between rock and a hard spot. In the past when I have come out and told her I don’t like that, she blows up at me telling me I am not prefect and the people she talks about can’t hear it therefore she is doing nothing wrong.

Hello all,
I am 23 and was recently scheduled for removal of tonsils.
I will be having surgery to have my tonsils and adenoids removed in about a month and I would like some feedback from some adults that have gotten them removed, the reason I say that is because the healing process is different from a child to an adult.
I would like to know how your surgery went, how long your operation lasted, how you felt after waking up, and how your healing/recovering was and how long it lasted.
My ENT doctor has told me that I should expect to be down for a full two weeks, is this reasonable?
Thank you so much for your help!

1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoInterview Tips Needed...?
A little background...I am a 23 year old girl studying Postmortem Forensic Science. I have an AA in Criminal Justice and started working for the local police department when I was only 16 (going on crime scenes). I am currently a Funeral Director and Embalmer. I recently applied for a position for as an Autopsy Assistant for the state Medical Examiner. I made the cut to the final 5 out of 244 applications. Last Friday they held a little meet-n-greet at the lab, all 5 finalists were there for the tour and explanation of the job. I feel, I by far, have the most experience in this type of work and knowledge of the position, but I am worried about the formal interview this afternoon.
I would like feed back on some questions they may ask, and how to approach them...I know a lot about the job so while doing the tour I didn't have any surprises or questions. But I don't want to come off like I know everything during the interview.
If you are a manager with knowledge..please help! Thanks!:)
