  • Help with 2 year old and behavioral issues?

I have a 2 1/2 year old son. He does not sleep good. Stays up screaming for hours at night, and doesn't want or need anything. Does not sit still, does things repeatedly, such as repeats words, over and over again. His speech is not good. He may have 5 words that can be understood. (I can understand him more being that I am with him 24/7). Even when he says mama or dada, its mamamama and dadadadada. I feel he has ocd. He only plays with cars and anything that can be stacked. But he doesn't actualy play with them. He lines them up, then leaves them. You don't dare touch them either. He is particular about his clothes and how they fit. Hates dirty hands. Does not like blankets on him...etc. He has tantrums, which I know all 2 year olds do, but his lasts for an hour, sometimes longer, over the simplest things. He is very picky about foods. He licks a lot of his food before eating it. And it seems like he goes by texture, not taste. He is super smart though. If I ask him to point to colors, he knows them all, knows numbers up to 20. Knows the alphabet, shapes etc. He has been to the doctor. They put him on Atarax, which did just the opposite. Kept him up for nights. And caused him to literally bounce off the walls. He goes to the doctor tomorrow for a check up. But I'm just wondering if anyone else has a child this young that does anything similar. His doctor suspects possible Asperger's and ADHD. But he's so young, it's hard to diagnose this age.

  • Could this be a stomach virus?

My daughter was fine all day yesterday. We had pizza with garlic dipping sauce for dinner last night. Around 11:00pm, she complained of having horrible heartburn, which she has almost daily. It then turned into stomach pains, which went away and then her lower abdomen started hurting, below her belly button. She went to sleep, woke up at 4:30 this morning and vomited. Then vomited a couple more times, but by 9am, she had quit vomiting and is able to keep liquids down. She said she feels better, just her sides are sore from vomiting. Is it possible for acid reflux to do this? She had also said when the heartburn started it felt like a lump in her throat and it was hard to swallow. I have a hiatel hernia myself, so I know what that's like. We all had the stomach virus in february, so is it possible to get it again?

  • What is the normal glucose level for a 13 year old girl?

My daughter is 13 years old. She is on the big side which is inherited from her father. She is 5' 71/2 inches and 184 lbs. Her ears have been bothering her, so we took her and had her hearing checked and her ears checked by a ENT. She has mild hearing lose in her left ear and a fungal infection in both. So the doctor ordered a glucose test. Her levels are at 83. Is this normal? The nurse couldn't tell me anything. And her doctor is out of town. It seems a bit low to me.

Please don't make any smart comments about her size. Her dad and his family are all big and built big. He is 6' 7" and grandma, grandpa, aunt are over 6 foot as well.

  • Question about 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan?

For about 2 months now, my van has been acting up. Somedays it starts no problem, other times it wont start, acts like the battery is dead, but then it will start right back up. Right now it wont start, no headlights, locks wont work, windows dont go down. But when I turn the key over, dash lights are on as if it wants to start. If I put my foot on the brake, they go out. And I dont have to have my foot on the brake to get it out of gear. I was told its the neutral safety switch. Does this sound correct? Or is it an ignition problem?

  • Question about blood pressure and being pregnant?

I am 23 weeks pregnant. I went to the doc yesterday and my BP was 132/69. I have White Coat. She said it was fine. I got up this morning and went to the store to get a prescription filled and while waiting I took my BP. The first reading was 119/62, second was 100/69 and the third was 117/72. Is this normal for BP to do this? Is 100/69 too low? I usually get really nervous when taking it, but for some reason wasn't today.

My son was playing with my other kids with crochet balls and one hit his finger. His pinky finger is now all bruised on the underside. It's purple and red. And his nail is also bruised. He's using it ok. But if you press on it at all it hurts him. This was on Thursday afternoon. Could it be broke?

  • Why would my husband accuse me of cheating?

For the past few weeks my husband has been accusing me of cheating. I have never even thought about doing that. We've been married almost 10 years. He'll pick a fight for no reason, constantly calls me from work to see what I'm doing and if I don't immediately answer, he questions me. Says I shouldn't be out playing with the kids, instead I should be inside cleaning and being a wife. We have 4 kids, under the age of 10. I love going out and playing with them. But it almost seems like he's jealous of them. Then he'll say that I can go out and do what I want, but he can't. He never wants to go do anything. I don't have friends to go out with, My time is spent with my kids. He also keep saying how he's tired of hearing me say something is mine. He says his money bought it, so it's not mine. (for example, my van). I just can't figure out why he's like this all of a sudden. I'm wondering if he might be cheating on me.

  • My 14 month old gets constipated.?

I have a 14 month old boy who gets constipated alot. He's on whole milk, and ever since we started him on it, it's so hard for him to go to the bathroom. And when he does, he pushes so hard, it sometimes makes him vomit. And it's really hard and huge. Could it be from the milk? I've tried giving him apple juice, more fiber, etc, but nothing works. When he was on formula, he was fine. I was thinking about putting him back on the next step formula for older babies. Any suggestions? And would it hurt to put him on it?

  • Recently my husband has been mean towards my kids and I. ?

He has been picking fights just so he can argue with me and and finds humor in it. He'll laugh at me constantly and he spends no quality time with our 4 kids or myself anymore. He comes home from work, and goes straight for the tv or video game. I can't figure out what is going on. I get called lazy for not having dishes done when he gets home. (there are 4 kids 1,7,8, and 10 years) it gets rough taking care of them 24-7 and he does not help. Can anyone tell me what could be going on with him? He won't talk to me, just yells.

  • 21 weeks pregnant with 4th child?

This is my 4th child (my youngest is 6 years, so it's been a while). I have this pain in between where the top of the leg bends, and the pubic area. Sometimes it feels like it's burning. It's hard to lift my leg at times, walk or even put on my shoes. Sitting isn't to bad. Rolling over at night in bed is painful. I didn't have this with my other kids. Just wondering what this could probably be. I have another week till my Dr. Appt., and would like some tips or something on how to relieve the pain. Thanks.
