What DSLR Camera to get?
I had a Canon 300d and it has recently broken so I'm in the process of finding a replacement. I'd quite like to stick to Canon but I don't want to get another 300d as it's pretty old now! I'm not looking to spend huge amounts but what camera would you recommend?

3 AnswersCameras8 years agoBabysitting rates for a 16 year old?
I was wondering what you think is an acceptable rate to put on my babysitting flyer? I was thinking of putting: Rates negotiable but as a guideline: £5 an hour, £20 for the night.
A little bit about me: I'm 16 years old and I volunteer as a Young Leader at Rainbows and Brownies, look after my two younger siblings and 3 days a week I pick up 2 boys of primary school age from school, take them back to their house and look after them for about 3 hours until their parent get home. I know basic first aid including CPR.
5 AnswersParenting8 years agoPlaylist for 10-13 year old girls?
I've been asked to be a 'DJ' at a disco for Girl Guides. I am 15 myself but my taste in music is (apart from Taylor Swift) not really charty poppy kind of music! I've helped at the unit before and the majority of the girls are huge One Direction fans so that will be on there - but I'm stuck for what else to add?
5 AnswersPolls & Surveys9 years agoAverage cost of 15 year old babysitter?
What's the average rate for a 15 year old female babysitter in your area? I live in the UK and am a Young Leader at a Brownie and Rainbow pack so I have good experience with children and with Christmas coming up I was looking to earn some extra money.
Thanks

5 AnswersParenting9 years agoDepression after death of a family member?
About a month or two ago my Nanna passed away and since then my Mum has been really sort of disconnected - if that makes sense? She doesn't want to go out when her friends ask, she always seems tiered and doesn't talk as much. My Opa (Dad's Dad) also passed away last year and of course he was upset but not like this.
My Dad is out most of the time working so it's my Mum, 13 year old sister, 10 year old brother and me around the house and they haven't seemed to notice her being upset. My brother is out most of the time and my sister is just so rude and mean to my Mum - like if she is asked to empty the dishwasher she throws a huge strop!
Is their anything I can do? She won't talk to anyone. Is it just a phase of grieving and will go over time?

3 AnswersMental Health9 years agoFuneral Situation Help!?
My Nanna died at the weekend and my Mum asked me if I want to go to the funeral - only problem is it's in Scotland!
My Reasons For Going
-Last living grandparent and I didn't get a chance to go the other others funerals because one died before I was born and the other 2 were Dutch so my parents didn't see the point of me going as I wouldn't understand anything
-The rest of my family are going
My Reasons for Not Going
-I literally can't be near dead things - I won't walk through graveyards - I can't sit through a dissection - I walk past a church on my way home and if there is a funeral happening I will actually make a point to cross the road to pass it whether the coffin is in the hearse or not!
-It would mean I miss my INTOPS weekend which is a really important Guiding thing that I might not get the chance to go to again - and if I don't go I won't be able to go guiding abroad
I really don't know what to do

1 AnswerOther - Visual Arts9 years agoWhat to wear to a Teen Gymnastics class?
I've been doing gymnastics since I was like 2 and I've always worn a leotard with short shorts. But I'm 15 now and my coach has said I'm getting to old and tall for competitive gymnastics so she has said to move to a 'Teen Gym' class but I don't know what they wear there. It's for 13-19 year olds boys and girls so I'm guessing not leotards. So what should I wear instead?

There is a girl in my year (Year 10) who is pregnant. She is keeping it and is 5 weeks pregnant (ish). I think the Dad is around our age but I couldn't say for sure. I was just wondering what your opinions were on the situation. (:

I'm making t-shirts for my friends and I for a concert so I've bought the t-shirts and the transfers came today!
But... they are all on a white background and the t-shirts are mid to light blue so would the design look really bad with a white square background?
There wasn't supposed to be any background but the printing company got my order wrong - they've refunded me but the concert is this weekend so I can't order any new ones!

2 AnswersFashion & Accessories9 years agoNicknames Needed?!?!?
For our DofE we are getting t-shirts done with nicknames but I'm stuck on think of some for 3 people. (We already have Fifi and the Flowertops and Laura the Explorer)
Jess - she's really smart
Liberty - very sporty
Kate - she's a bit quirky
I was thinking maybe Krazy Kate and Statue of Liberty for 2 of them but are really stuck with a nickname for Jess!
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

6 AnswersPolls & Surveys9 years agoHow to make someone feel bad for what they have done?
I know that sounds bad but I have my reasons and to be fair they deserve it.
Basically, I signed up to do some work experience at a company through my school. They told me that I could come in during my February half term and do some stuff for a bit of money as my actual work experience isn't until July. So I went in for 2 days but got no pay out of it but I just left it as I would be doing my work experience there later so I thought of it as practice. Then today at school I was told they have canceled on me! They had all my contact details and didn't even bother telling me or the school. The school only found out when they rang the company up to ask for a a plan for the week of my work experience and they suddenly said they didn't want me to come anymore. So basically they got free labour out of me during the half term!
So I'm planning to write them an email just to generally make them feel a bit bad, what should I write?
