  • Possible Rabbit Emergency!?

My rabbit, Sammie, is a small Dutch mix. We've been on vacation for the past two weeks and had my neighbors feed her. When we got back three days ago I noticed she hadn't eaten her food the next day. She had also not eaten it today. I have four other Dutch mixes and they are rotated around so each one gets a day out of their cage. They live on our enclosed front porch with a heater set on 65 degrees. Today is her day out, but she won't move. She just sits in her cage and won't eat. She will move to get a drink, and I did manage to get her to eat a carrot and a peice of broccoli, but other than that, she turns up her nose, and tries to close her eyes and sit there all hunched up. Does anybody have any ideas about whether this is truly serious? We don't have the money for vet care right now, so are there any home remedies or anything that we can get that might help? She is quarantined in her own cage right now. Please and thank you for any help!

  • Question about Rabbits?

I have three rabbits who I believed were all female, they are siblings, two are from one litter and one from the second. The first two were born October 1 and the third November 2. I recently checked the sexes and found that one of them is actually most likely male. Should I seperate them now? How long can they stay together? I am currently trying to save up to have them fixed, so I'd like to keep them together so that I don't have to "re-bond" them. Can they be "un-bonded" if seperated? Thanks for any replies!
