I have a dilemma. I am considering resigning as a paraprofessional mid-way through the school year due to having to come back in-person. I don't have a disability or health issues I am fit to go in person, however I live with my dad and grand-father. They are both considered at risk for covid-19 complications. I really don't want to take the risk of going in person until I get the 2 vaccine shots. I was hoping to finish the last school year virtual and by the summer resign so I can become a teacher in the fall. I've got myself lined up to start interviewing for teaching positions in this district. I'm concerned that if I resign this will kick me out of the teacher selection process or make my reference with the principal sour. My impact looks good for the first quarter and I have great talking points about what I have done in the school. I don't want it to go to waste if my application is dropped. What should I do?

I'm preparing to take the Praxis II exams I need as part of the licences process. I've passed the Praxis I Core exams. I'm considering applying to be a teacher next school year but I am worried that because I haven't passed my test as of yet it may hurt my chances if I go in for an interview that I am still working towards certification. Should I wait until I have everything taken care of before applying to teach? I thought about applying early to try and take initiative but I don't want it to hurt me if I still have things to take care of. Any advice?

I have learned that all states require a person to have a bachelor's degree in education or have gone back for a masters degree in MAT or a masters in education. My question is it determined what requirements are needed to teach a specialized area. An example is if I want to teach high school math I'd need to pass the praxis core and the praxis 2 math along with the Praxis PLT 7 - 12. I found that information out online searching. How do I know what I need to take in order to teach a certain area? An example is elementary school. Looking at job listings just point out having a teachers license but other than that what other requirements must I meet?

I'm an aide in a public school. I wanted to ask for advice. I had training today from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Do I go back to the school after training? I normally get off at 3:30pm. I have heard some people don't go back after a day of training.  That's usually how it is. I spoke to my time keeper who asked if I would be back. I said yes since I wasn't sure that if I didn't return I'd lose 2 hours. What should I do?

I have been debating which program would be better for me. I've done some reading and have found that the MAT is looked at as almost having a BS degree in Teaching because it's considered specializing in a field such as math, English or a science. On the other hand with a MA in Early Childhood Education I could look at having a masters and teaching between Pre-school - 3rd grade. The MAT sounds more attractive to me. But I wanted to know if it's considered having a Masters Degree or is it looked at more of a Bachelors degree. Any Feedback would be great.

I recently purchased a new android tablet that has about 8 GB of storage. I have been uploading pictures and videos to the tablet and once it reaches 5.35 - 5.40GB of space left, it stops working or won't take anymore space. I cannot install any apps on it either when that happens. But if I delete or move some of my photos back on the desktop and it has 5.75 - 6 GB of space it will start working. I haven't put any apps on it either. If I install an app though I have to do it before I start adding any documents or photos to it. What should I do? Maybe take it back? Is it defective? I have 5 GB of space to work with and I feel like I am not able to use all of it.

Ok. Here's the situation. I am 33 and the woman I was dating is 54. She has gone thru menopause close to 3 years ago. We had sex in Mid August, let's say Aug. 9th, 3 days later she says she feels pregnant. So we get a couple packs of pregnancy test. We do a test 9 days after we had sex and again 12 days after we had sex and they both say negative but she is feeling nausea, she cannot eat anything and when she sits up it feels like everything is spinning. During the second test we did her urine was cloudy as well. She went to the doctor because she wasn't getting better and the doctor told her that she had vertigo. She started taking the meds for that and now she is better. She says she had mistaken being vertigo for being pregnant but I still feel uneasy and uncomfortable about if she is pregnant or not. She doesn't believe she is but the scare still has me feeling anxiety and she doesn't want to take another pregnancy test. I'm assuming she isn't pregnant but at the same time I still feel worried because we haven't done a 3rd test. Any thoughts on it?

Since the eclipse last Monday 8/21/2017 I didn't notice a change in my vision until Friday 8/25/2017. My left eye seems normal, but my right eye seems like I see things a little brighter and is sensitive to light. It's been pretty weird getting used to it. I don't know if this is solar retinopathy. I wonder how long this vision change may last. I don't smoke, I exercise, I have now started eating carrots, kale and drinking 3 cups of water a day. I have started a veggie diet to try and improve recovery. I go to my doctor on Friday 9/1 so I will let him know everything but I wanted to get thoughts on this. in the morning my eye still sometimes hurts. I don't know if that is because its still in the process of healing or recovering.

Ok. This may sound strange but I looked at the eclipse for a split second out of curiosity. I wasn't using any shades or glasses to protect my eyes. I was fine. A few days later when I was showering for bed, after I got out my right eye felt irritated like something was in it or bothered (This sometimes happens when I shower and wash my face with soap.) But usually after a few hours I am fine. I thought sleeping would help, woke back up the next day and my eye still feels irritated. I don't know if it was from the eclipse yesterday or from the soap I used. Also it seems I cannot read as clearly as I could in my right eye compared to my left. I go to the eye doctor in a couple of weeks but I wanted to ask for thoughts and perspectives

I have been seeing a woman who is 53 and she has not had a period in 3 years because of menopause. We were recently intimate a week ago and she says that she feels nausea and the smell of food makes her want to vomit. This happened 3 - 4 days after we had sex. We took a pregnancy test but didn't do it right. Because its suppose to be done in the morning. It says she isn't pregnant and she wants to believe just that. She also doesn't feel as bad either. We don't know if maybe its her body reacting to having sex because of how long its been Nov. / Oct. and now its August. I feel that we should re-test because it had only been 9 days since we had sex before the test and we did it incorrectly. She says it doesn't matter. If she is pregnant then she is if not then so be it. We would just wait months and find out. The anxiety over this hasn't allowed me to really sleep or eat much because I am eager to know the truth. What should I do? Wait a month and try and talk her in to doing the test again or try and do it in another week?

We don't know if maybe its her body reacting to having sex because of how long, if its from fear and depression as well or if she is pregnant. Aside from taking the pills, I want to ask. I have decided to stop eating and drink between 8 to 12 cups of water with exercise and taking a vitamins to help me lose weight. I plan to do this for 2 weeks and see the results. So far its been 3 days. How does that sound?

I have been battling with either eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or maybe salads instead of eating soup for lunch everyday at work. I know with soup its high in sodium, has preservatives, BPA and MSG and I have went from weighting 143 pounds to 169 pounds in a years time from when I last went to the doctor. I didn't start eating soup everyday at work until around that time frame and did some research on soup. What could be some useful alternatives? Also, after I found out I gained weight I have started back up exercising now that the weather is getting warmer out.

Would studying the SAT book help prepare me for taking the praxis I test? I would think that the reading, writing and math are very similar.I would love the feed back, Thank you.

I recently started working for a job that was originally a weekend Temp. job but because I am new being hired here and it being a temp. job, they decided to give me full-time work (Tuesday - Sunday), and I am off Mondays and Thursdays. I am struggling on the inside about whether I should actely be looking and take a new job if offered one or if I should stick with the company I am with and hope they have another position within the company I can apply for. What do you think I should do? In addition, should I include this job on my resume if I apply to more jobs?

Is it possible for someone to be able to track a person's phone number down off of a dating website if you didn't list it? If so, how is that done? I ask because I was speaking with someone online and they were able to text my phone, I don't remember giving them my number. How is that possible?

When I boot my computer, I have the option to go either push the F2 key for boot mode or F12 to access the list of bootable devices but I cannot use of the other keys until it boots up to the windows welcome page. I have ran Norton to see if maybe a virus is keeping my computer from getting in to Safe mode, now if I turn my computer off a few times and it starts up recommending to fix any errors. I don't have a choice but to let that run since I cannot control any of the keys, once it loads up though I can then use the mouse and the keys again which is weird. Maybe there is some file missing that doesn't register to let me use my keys once it gets to that option. I don't know. Any suggestion?
