I basically started a new job this week, I already have a night part time job so this new one is a part time daytime job.

However the job was advertised as Monday Tuesday Wednesday mornings, which is why I applied. They have however given me Wednesday morning. But also Thursday and Friday afternoon, which means I'm now working 6 days and 5 nights a week.

I'm not happy with this at all, I've asked to move one of those to morning but they said they will see.

I'm not interested in this job now and my heart isn't in it.

1. Can I just quit / not show up? I didn't sign a contract just an employee bank details for my wages. It is contracted 16 hours a week.

2. I don't want to go in, I might just send an email saying the job isn't for me or whatever, then just not go.

I could do with the extra money but not at the cost of my happiness and spare time.

So a few days ago my girlfriend and I had a massive row. It started because she was going on at me for texting this girl (which I only did because she had an ex-boyfriend on snapchat) then she’s a bit ill that day so she’s really sort of irritable and she hits me on the head for a small thing like not doing a dish properly (I sat down with a sandwich and she hits me on the head saying don’t get any on my dress, which is on the back of the chair?)

She can’t accept that she was wrong too and I keep on saying it and she hits me in the face, just lashes out and hits me. Then she starts going on saying she hates my family, that my sisters are both slags (they’re not) that my Dad is a horrible bully, that I am a horrible c*** that my whole family are horrible c***s and I’m flinching away from her with my knee and arms up to stop her hitting me.

So eventually I’ve had enough and I hold her wrists to restrain her, and she’s screaming at me and repeatedly slapping me across the face so I snap and I punch her once in the face, then on the way down hit her again.

I feel absolutely horrified. She had a bit of a black eye and a busted lip and blood from her lip. She was crying her eyes out terrified. I feel utterly sick. I am not a violent person but I was pushed to my absolute limit. I should have just walked away but I didn’t. I keep having horrific images of this girl, who I love more than anything, crying her eyes out.

Hi. I went out with my mates last night drinking and kissed this girl a couple of times. I feel really really terrible. Do I tell her? I don't want to tell her and it won't happen again. how do I get over feeling bad?

Basically my girlfriend and I had a bit of an argument and I packed my stuff and said I'm leaving going home.

She went crazy, stormed up to me and started slapping me hard on the side of my head. Pinching scratching and biting me. Throttling me at my neck. At first I held her wrists to restrain her and said get off me let me go.

She kept following me around the room. She then slapped me very hard on the side of my head and pinched my arm hard that it scratched deeply so I lashed out and punched her in the face. It wasn't a full on punch more of a scuff. It didn't leave a mark just a slight bit of pinkness.

I have deep cuts on my arm. Should I feel bad about this? I feel terrible but she started hitting me first a lot and I gave her 5-10 mins to stop it.

How can I get a guaranteed one?

I want to borrow like £150 to pay back £186 or so in one go. I have GUARANTEED 4 times that amount in income at my next payday which is why I am ******* fuming at being rejected so many times.

For the record, my payday is in 4 weeks, I owe a friend £100 and have no money to my name right now because I spent it all gambling.

I ordered 3 Months worth of contact lenses from specsavers. 3 for the left eye 1 for each Month and 3 for the right eye.

I took 2 new boxes to work with me and went to put them in…

The right eye one was fine, had the solution in and the new contact lense, however

The left eye one had no solution in it and just had this weird, deformed plastic lense which is smaller than my usual lense but thicker like this weird plastic shape and I don’t want to put that in my eye.

Why haven’t they done my new lense properly? I paid for 3 Months so I should have 3 Months worth, however, with at least on Months worth useless (haven’t checked the other boxes) I will only get 2 Months use out of them.

If I show it to them will they replace it free of charge? This is too much hassle…. I have enough things keeping me busy without this incompetence.
