I'm currently renting my parents house with my husband. There isn't really a rental agreement, we just moved in. The amount we are paying is close to $1100.00 but online is saying that we should only be paying close to $600.00. I know that credit score and a few other things determine the mortgage amount. It's an old house and needs some TLC. We have big plans for the house, but at this monthly payment amount it will take us forever. Would it be better if we try to get a loan and just pay off my mom and dad and they sign the deed to us? Would it be better that we pay them off and they sell it to us for a $1.00? Is it better that we just move, and try to find a house with a lower rate? I mean.. IDK anything about real estate. HELP!?

I've read that at this age they should only being eating 24 - 36 oz of formula. He's drinking about 36 oz of formula if not more.

NORMAL ROUTINE: Breakfast is usually oatmeal with about an oz and a half of formula, with about a half container of #2 level fruit, and then he will usually finish that 5-6 oz bottle. For lunch, he's eating a full #3 level food (with chunks), with a 5-6 oz bottle.. He will eat again between 4p and 6p (depending on when he ate lunch) and have another #3 food, with a bottle. Usually about 8 oz. All of these meals usually have a snack in-between with those cookies or stars that dissolve in their mouth with some water or baby juice. His late night/overnight bottle(s) will be 8 oz. no food.

He always seems to be hungry. Even after he eats his full meal - he will play for a little while and want to eat more. Especially if we have food. We tend to then give him the protein we are eating... maybe some bread of sorts or a veggie.

He's in the 95th percentile for length, and 62nd percentile for weight. So he's a big boy, but not big weight wise. He's not fat... just solid. He's probably a good 22 lbs or 22.5 lbs.

Any help is appreciated - real answers only PLEASE. :)

I started dreadlocks about 3 weeks ago and for those 3 weeks I wore a wig cap over my dreads and a cotton scarf over that. I just got my dreads re-twisted and I like the way they look now... so I have been wearing them out, but I miss my scarves. Is it ok to go back to wearing them all day?

Yahoo Answers has a category for Tattoos, why don't they have one for piercings? When I post a question for a piercing question, I'm not sure if I should put it under other - beauty and Style or Tattoo - Beauty and Style. A lot of people as questions about piercings, so I don't see why they don't have a section for that.

I'm basically a single mom. I have been for all 10 years of her life. I do have a boyfriend that lives with me (not her father), and he helps to take care of her and the household. I haven't talked to my daughters biological for about 3 years, and he hasn't paid his child support in 9 years. He doesn't call, write, or even attempt to see her. His family has "shoo'd" me away, and wants no contact with my daughter.

He owes over $17,000.00 in Child Support!!!!

My thing is, I've made it this far with no help from him. The amount of money he has paid in Child Support TOTAL, does not even cover daycare expenses for the first year of her life... let alone anything else.

He apparently either has no job or is getting paid under the table somewhere.... there is a lien out on him, his license is suspended until Child Support is paid, and he went to jail 3 years ago for not paying the balance then..... what else can Child Support Enforcement do??? Nothing right?

So, should I persue getting him to voluntarily relinquish his parental rights? Or is it REALLY worth it to hold on to the child support order?

I have a 2008 Chevy HHR and the power steering goes out every now and then. Usually when I'm on the highway. It went out on me a couple of time right before I made a turn. It's so hard to turn without it. Almost crashed both times.

GM/Chevy hasn't recalled the part on my specific HHR or my year of HHR's... but has recalled it on MANY other Chevy's.

What do I do? How much does it cost to repair without warranty or recall? Should I invest in a new car?

I'm trying to determine what kind of piercing I should get next. Could possibly get one over the weekend. So far I have:

4 Holes in each ear. - First hole is a 0 Guage.

Tragus Piercing

Tongue piercing

Nipple piercing

Any advice on what to get next? I've been thinking about getting an Industrial but one of the piercings in my ears is in the upper ear.

I've also been thinking about a septum piercing or a nose ring. My tongue piercer said a web piercing would suite me well because I have a long web... I'm not ready for another mouth piercing yet.

Thoughts? Ideas? Advice? I need pain levels if you have it. (Scale 1 (Not Painful at all) - 10 (Extremely Painful).)

I've had my tongue pierced for 2 and a half weeks. I was wondering if it's okay to switch my own bar. I don't feel like going to the tattoo shop to have them do it. It's not bleeding, there is no more pain or swelling. Just need to know if it's safe to do it myself.

Also.... what do I clean my new bar with before I put it in my mouth?

I've been dating my BF since December of 2012. He talks of wanting to get married but hasn't proposed yet. We've talked about it, we talk about kids in our future but he says he's not in the right place yet to propose. He wants to be more financially stable. I've read that if there is no proposal after 18 months, then there is a slim chance they ever will propose..... YIKES! I only have 4 months.

Points you should probably know before advising:

1. I won't tell you my age - but we are old enough.... I'll say older than 26 yrs old.

2. I have a daughter already. No communication with her biological father. So there is no baby daddy drama.

3. He moved from his state of residence to my state of residence to be with me

4. He is working, but he has a 9-5 job that pays barely over the min. wage and he has a Bachelors degree. He's still actively looking for jobs. He is paying his own bills but can't help out with shared bills like rent, cable, & electricity.

I'm fine with a city hall marriage... wedding can be planned and saved for in 5 years to renew vows or something...... He knows this already too.

Should I be worried? How do I make him move towards the proposal without making him feel like I'm forcing him to do it?

I understand that, but I failed to remember the reaction I get when I get my nails done with acrylic. My finger tips and cuticles itch and swell. Sometimes a clear liquid expels from under my nail. So I've stopped getting my nails done. If I remember correctly, the original plugs I received when stretching my lobes, were acrylic and they produced more "ear cheese" than the steel ones I have now.

I need thoughts/opinions/help/suggestions on the Acrylic tongue ring for the initial piercing and if steel rings are really that bad.

I'm the custodial parent and my ex barely pays his Child Support. He's behind by $7,500.00. We have a Show Cause court date scheduled in June in the state of Virginia. What will the court do. I know in VA they will exhaust all other options (IE: suspending drivers license, Liens, interception of taxes and pay checks) before initiating a court date. So.. if they've exhausted all their options and he's still not paying, what will the Court order him to do??

Again.. I'm in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

House hunting sucks to the fullest. I'm looking to purchase my first home and we can't find anything really in the area we want for our price range. I'm engaged and don't want to plan the wedding until we get the house. We want to get married next year May. I'm anxious for both things. I was thinking to not really have a wedding and just get married so I don't have to worry about it anymore. I have lost all interest in a wedding. I don't care about getting a dress, wedding party, reception EVERYTHING! I just want to get this house and be happy.

Then I was thinking.. I would disappoint so many people if I didn't have at least a small wedding. On both sides of our families. Everyone wants to see us get married. We are both the oldest in our families. I was the first grandchild, daughter, niece everything. And he's the only male in his generation and his moms first child and grandma's favorite.So maybe I should put the house hunting on hold and just plan a small wedding.... IDK.

Should I continue to look for the house or go ahead and get married?

I had a friend whom I considered my best friend for years. Even when we were miles apart from each other we stayed best friends. Well, at one point about 5-6 years ago we were both dating these guys from the same church. I hooked her up with her now husband. However, when me and my bf at the time broke up, she went behind my back and did a few things that I really didn't agree with. We ended up falling away from each other. She came to me one day about a book she wrote and I (being supportive) was one of the first ppl to buy her book. I bought 2 one for me and one for my mom. She had thanks in the front of the book for ppl that weren't there for her half as much as me. So that kind of pissed me off. I told her about my feelings about a month and a half ago and she said she was wrong and she shouldn't have done that and she said she wanted me back in her life... but I don't know how to go about it. I have still have anger. Even though I have pretty much let it go, I still don't have the anxiousness to get back into a friendship with her. What should I do?

I've been with my boyfriend.. now fiance.. for 4 years. He's known my daughter (which is not his) since she was 8 months old. I told him from day one if he's going to be with me, he's going to be there for her too. So, it's 4 years later.. she's 4. We had a small disagreement because my daughter emptied the lotion all over her room. i said no t.v. took her tv for the weekend. He wanted it to be the whole week. He would go as far as teasing her. we got icecream and didn't buy her any because she was a bad girl, however he went as far as to taunt her. So I let her have a bite of mine.

Is that so wrong? He told me not to ask for his help anymore with disciplining her because of that. Said I was soft. I mean.... what would you say or do? I have put a lot aside when it comes to her. He doesn't help with daycare payments, he doesn't give her a bath, he barely buys her the food that she likes.. like he just doing what he has to do for her and nothing extra.

He buys her clothes every now and then and of course he participates in holidays with her. Should I been concerned? I mean, I feel like a single parent with a spouse at this point.

I got in an accident the other day and the people that hit me were at fault. I have insurance and they claimed to have insurance. I contacted their insurance company and they can't find a policy for them. So I'm waiting for the police to call me back and try to get more info on the car to see if it's really registered under these people's names. IF they are the correct registered names of the vehicle, what do I have to do next??? Will I have to go get a lawyer? I know I will have to go to my insurance company to get my car fixed.... but how would I or my insurance company go after these people? Need some help to guide me in the right direction.

So, a couple of weeks ago, I was trying to push my chair back from my desk and my foot slipped and hit an area under my desk. It scraped my skin a little, barely drew any blood. I cleaned it with peroxide very quickly. The mark itself has healed just fine, but there is like a "lump" right where the sore is. It seems to maybe be fluid?? It hurts whenever I touch it or my fiance touches it. I will bare through my fiance rubbing my foot and the lump will go down after a few minutes, but a few hours later it's back to the same old lump. Can anyone tell me what that is? Or if I should go to the doctor?
