  • PTSD / BIPOLAR?

I got diagnosed with PTSD from trauma in childhood due to my first boyfriend. The Dr gave me Mirtazapine 30mg and got me in touch with a therapist.

Although, I am not denying I have PTSD as the symptoms are there.

I still feel its not just PTSD. As my whoke life is effected. My mood swings are so extreme. And even though i've been taking Mirtazine it really doesnt stop me from going one extreme to the other or escalating quickly. Mitazapine does most of the time send me to sleep though. But doesnt stop me wakening acting out in sleep.

My brother weirdly is the same as me, he gets irrational, dreams and hullucinates and believes it for such a long time. But me on the other hand i believe but then i realise it cant be real. But we both are up and down, we both can be speeded up and slowed down in speech and thoughts and we both jump from one thing to another. Hes not been diagnosed with anything.

I dont know what to think. Im searching bipolar peoples stories more than anything.

  • Ofstead EY2 registration. A few questioms regarding this.?

Ive done an enhanced DBS check and my certificate is completely clean.

On the EY2 it asks personal questions such as..

Have you been in hospital in the last two years.

Are you currently being treated for something.

    - Why do they ask those questions?
