  • 2008 2009 2010 solar eclipses on First of Av in Jewish calendar: other specific examples and explanation?

There will be another solar eclipse in two days which will be the First of Av in Jewish calendar. Thus, the three consecutive solar eclipses of 2008, 2009, and 2010 all happen on the same date in Jewish calendar, on the First of Av.

Are there any other calendars similar to the Jewish calendar where the three solar eclipses happen on the same date, or something like it? Please be specific in examples to include past events and future events verifiable on the NASA web site.

Does anyone know how the Jewish calendar works scientifically that it captures the universe interaction of the sun, the moon, and the earth in these 3 consecutive years?

Are there scientific web-sites on it confirming these scientific-religious links on how the Jewish calendar works?

  • How did Muhammad and Paul compare in divine signs, and why were divine signs important?

Allah said, “I inspired the Disciples [of Jesus, 500 years before Muhammad] to have faith in Me” (Quran 5:111). Quran 61:14 also proclaims that the Disciples of Jesus “are Allah’s helpers!”

Indeed they were. Jesus’ Rasul (Apostle) and Nabi (Prophet) Paul himself wrote and co-wrote 14 books of the Gospel as Allah was inspiring him.

Rasul Paul never met Jesus before His crucifixion. It was from Heaven that Allah appeared as a bright light to proclaim Himself as the risen Jesus, and called Paul to be His rasul and nabi.

FYI: I use the word “Allah” to mean “God.” Some Christian Bibles such as Indonesian Bible uses the word “Allah” as a title meaning “God” and the word “allah” meaning “god.” According to Kitab al-Aghani, the formula “Bimillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim” was of Jewish origin (1876 J.M.Rodwell “The Koran”). In the original Aramaic Syriac, this formula would read “Bismilalaha Rahmana Rhima.” Aramaic Syriac used the word “Alah” or Alaha” for the English word “God”, which became “Allah” in Arabic. Thus, the word Allah is a title just as the President or the Secretary, not His proper name. Syriac Christians at the time of Muhammad called Jesus as Rahmana (1902 H. Hirschfeld “New Researches into the Composition and Exegesis of the Quran). According to Eph 2:7-10 and Titus 3:4-8, we are saved by Rahman through Jesus, and transformed by Rahim through the Holy Spirit.
