7 AnswersOther - Australia7 years agoAustralians, when travelling?
this wide brown land via your computer, you may have noticed that the "KANGAROO" I asked earlier re the Australian YA site on Australian computers has disappeared.
I am very close to abandoning the whole YA and leaving it to all the reporters so that they can all just report themselves.

sent letters from Malaysia re lost fortunes? It seems my long lost uncle Ang has died and left me $13.5 mil. It seems I am his closest living relative, even though the surname used is my former husband's name, not mine.
7 AnswersNew South Wales (Sydney)8 years agoAussies, how can people afford?
fast food? Have just collected Mr P from the airport and we thought we would have take away for dinner. 3 pieces of KFC each about the size of a tablespoon, small mashed potatoes some gravy and 20 fries and a teeny weeny bread roll.. Yes I did count the fries. Cost....$10.95. I can get a whole cooked chook for $9.00 down at Woolies. How do families afford to take their kids to these places? We went through the drive through but the seating area looked quite full.
It would be close to 25 years since I last had KFC and it will be more than another 25 years before I have it again.
12 AnswersGeneral - Australia8 years agoJust listening to new in Australia.?
A motorcyclist stopped to help another motorcyclist who appeared to be in trouble. The " good Samaritan" (1st biker) was pushed into a ditch by the 2nd biker and then three of the 2nd biker's mates turned up and doused the "good Samaritan" with acid.
What are everyone's thoughts about people who throw acid on others being punished in a like manner?

6 AnswersGeneral - Australia9 years agoWho keeps reporting Jay's Q's?
Yes, he is a little different and sometimes he asks odd stuff, but that last question was not racist or in offensive. Perhaps it was worded a little strongly, but then so are many others. C'mon guys, give him a go......
11 AnswersGeneral - Australia9 years agoTo each and every person affected by the storms?
I and my fellow Aussie Yahooers are thinking of you and hope that you suffer as little damage as possible. We are watching in real time and can see how the storm is affecting your towns and cities.
Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones and we hope there is no further loss of life.
God Bless and keep you all.
4 AnswersNew York City9 years agoOf those of you getting "Microsoft " phone calls....?
Have you noticed any drop off in the calls from the Indian call centres offering to fix your computer? We used to get 3-4/week about 2.30pm. Since the program on TV about it we have not had any. I used to give them a blast with an umpire's whistle. I learnt some new swear words I hadn't heard before.

here in Aus we have one of your little female fur seals which we have called Emily. She seems to have been involved in a shark attack so Sea World is taking care of her and will release her when she is better. Emily should be back home, fit and well in about a month.
There was an adult last week who called in for a snooze on a North Sydney beach, but that one has moved on after a sleep and a sun bathe
