Computer technician/consultant with over 20 years experience in Trouble-shooting and Security vulnerability. Linux: Multiple flavors from Gentoo, Redhat, Suse, Ubuntu, Centos, as well as experience with routers/firewall devices running dd-wrt firmware. Using linux for everything from workstations to mail servers, web servers, SAMBA (serving 5 to 200 windows clients), routers, VPN tunnels etc. Experience with everything from TRS-80 with 4k of ram, to Color computer with Microware's OS-9, IBM OS-2, Windows 3.0, 3.1, 3.1for workgroups, 95, 98, NT 3.5, NT 4, 2000, XP, Vista. Server operating systems from NT 3.5, 4, 2000, 2003, Novell 3 & 4, Banyon Vines. IBM System 36/38, AS-400 My personal pc is an Intel Core2 duo system, 8GB ram running Gentoo Linux, hosting a dozen different email domains on postfix, with several web sites, DNS and backup DNS services for a couple dozen domains. I also have windows XP running in a VMWare virtual machine on the system to handle windows related support.
