I have never been to the Greek islands and would like to a nice island that is quiet and not too touristy with bars and discos.

Kefalonia looks nice or that one with the shipwreck on the beach.

Any ideas

I was in Costa Rica 12 years ago and it was 400 Colon for a beer and about 1200 for lunch and about 5 US Dollars for a bottle of rum, I am going again in a month.

Has anybody been there recently and can you give me some feedback on prices as I heard it has gone quite expensive down there.

I love old recipes like pies and steamed suet puddings with steak and kidney and game pies, rabbit, ploughmans lunches etc

I am on Allopurinol and getting severe attacks of Gout which is normal at the beginning but I am also on Ramipril along with other Meds. The Ramipril is giving me severe body aches and pains and I cannot move my right knee for pain, I also have pain between my shoulders.

Does anyone know how long these side effects last for?

Since Saturday I have severe gout in both legs ie both ankles right knee both big toes and all the joints of left toes, I take goutcare and had 3 liters of cherry juice over the first 3 days of the attack.

I normally only get it on my right big toe but the attacks are getting more severe and frequent. the pain is evil and I have not seen anyone or been out for nearly 5 days

What is the best and easiest way to get from the Pacific coast (Manuel Antonio) to the Caribbean coast (Manzanillo) I don't want to get the slow public bus back to San Jose and then another bus to the coast it would take 2 days.
