I am wanting to start planning my birthday trip to New York City.

I am living in Toronto and am unsure about a lot.

Should I fly, or drive?

Where should I stay?

What is there to see to maximize my trip?

I am going with a friend and we will be both interested in the night life and sight seeing.

I think I want to plan to go for 5 days. Leave Thursday and come home Monday.

Any and all suggestions welcome!

My boyfriend recently proposed.

A few days later he was bragging about how proud he was of the ring and how long he had been saving for it. I asked him for the warranty paperwork so I could go have it sized and inside the pamphlet was his copy of the receipt in addition to the gift receipt.

Now, this isn't a materialistic thing. It's more about the lying. It had been an issue in the past. The receipt was for $131....

I bought his an engagement gift as well (a watch he's wanted for months) that cost almost $50 more...

Should I confront him? Am I wrong to feel upset?

was on again and off again with a really sweet guy for a few years and ultimately I moved to live with my Dad 6 hours away.

When we were together I was still in my partying phase but have since had a baby and settled down. We almost got back together this time last year but he got scared and bolted. I got back together with the guy I had been seeing.

I'm in the middle of a breakup right now, looking for an apartment and I got a text from him and it seems we have picked up where we left off. He said sorry for just cutting me off last year and says he misses me.

I really miss him too but I don't know if I could handle getting hurt by him again. At the same time though, thinking he could ever date someone else kills me. He really makes me happy.

What should I do? He I guess told his mom we have been talking again and she has been calling and texting saying she can't wait to see me and meet my little one. Her and I got along really really well.

Bottom line, I want to become a lawyer.

I dropped out of high school because I became a mother young. I finished my GED with high scores. From here I plan to take a dental assisting 8mth course so I have a reliable job while I continue my education. Once I finish that course and want to continue what is an appropriate education path? I have a 5 and a 6 year old. Girl and boy. They were both invited to a birthday party in which the invite says "we can't wait to see you (child) and his two dads". My children are not sheltered by any means but we have yet to explain the whole gay marriage thing. I have nothing against gay marriage whatsoever I'm just at a loss on how to explain it so I don't have to get into detail, yet they understand. It was the first thing they questioned upon showing me the invite.

I have been using infant tylenol and it helps a lot and takes the edge off for her but she is still irritable. She doesn't like any teething rings and I've tried a cold cloth. Any suggestions?
