  • Why cant the left control themselves?

Apparently conservatives are the bad guys in this country. But every mass shooting since Columbine has been from the hands of a registered Democrat. I guess thats one way to get your gun control?

  • Which Harley Davison would you recommend?

So next year I'm dead set in getting a Harley Davidson motorcycle. First of all I'm gonna say in a small guy 5 foot 7 inches tall at 140 lbs. how I'm getting the motorcycle is a story of it's own. Long story short I'm deploying and in Kuwait they offer special financing, discount pricing and 0 sales tax. All your bike are here in the states and gets shipping and help at your local dealership. So I've been going to the Harley dealership on some weekends and got a few in mind. I've narrowed it down to the dyna wide glide and the softail slim. The weights about the same, seat height and price. I've also been eyeballing the fatboy lo but even tho I like the seat height, I think it may be a little more bike for me. I've looked at the sportsters and like them but I find myself wanting a little bigger and better. I'll probably gain weight while I'm overseas I know last time all I has to do is workout. I came back at 173 lbs. I'm thinking when I come back the weight if these bikes won't be iffy to me anymore. But still wanting to know other Harley riders options on a bike such as the ones I listed and which would be better for me.

  • Next handgun?

So in looking at a couple different choices. Mainly for home defense and winter carry. I have all sorts of summer conceal carry so this one I want to be a full size combat pistol. So reliability is important. I'm a collector so it's not my only handgun. I have Glock, Springfields and rugers. But right now I am eyeballing the Sig P226 in 9mm, HK USP in 9mm or .45ACP but also been wanting a Kimber tactical 1911. Which would you go for and why over the others?

  • Rifle stock bedding?

A month or 2 ago I placed an order from McMillan for a stock. It will have a full length aluminum bedding block stretching from the action to the end of the forearm. Depending on how much the action moves back and forworth when I seat it in the stock but loose. I'm planning to have it bedded.

But let's say it I drop my action in the stock and it has little to no movement, and because of the bedding block I'm able to torque it to 65 inch pounds. Should I or should I not still bed the action?

  • What do you carry for concealed carry?

I was just wondering what do others carry for their CCW applications. List the gun you use and the caliber and why. Over the past few years I've carried lots of different handguns for concealed carry and some were better than others. Glock 19, Glock 23, Glock 26, Springfield LW Operator 1911, Springfeild Mil-Spec 1911, S&W air weight j frame .38, Springfield XDs9, Ruger SP101 and even a S&W 629 talo .44 magnum. I have to say I'm starting to carry the SP101 the most now cuz it's not air light so I know it's there, but it's not too heavy unlike the Milspec and 629 talo. And I feel .357 magnum will get the job done!!

  • Full aluminum bedded stocks?

Looking to put a McMillan stock on one of my rifles. The McMillan stock I'll be purchasing has a full length aluminum bedding block. If I wanting to squeeze out the tightest groups I can possibly do should I have it fiberglass bedded? Or is it not really needed for it?

  • Out of these two rifles, which would you choose?

So I'm in the process of building a long range rifle. I have a Sig SSG 3000 patrol. My future plans within a few weeks is to bed it into the SIG 3000 McMillan stock but I recently have a chance to trade it and add a little cash for a Remington 700 Target Tactical which comes with the McMillan stock, 26" barrel with 11.25 twist it's pretty much a civilian version of the USMC M40. So I guess the question is Sig SSG 3000 patrol upgraded to a McMillan stock vs. Remington 700 Target Tactical?

  • What would be a good scope for my intentions?

I want to get into precision shooting. Just starting out. I'm not new at shooting all together just precision shooting. I shoot handguns, shotguns and my 2 AR's often. I recently purchased a Remington 700 AAC-SD to start with. I done alot of reviewing online and purchased a Harris bipod, Weaver rail and Weaver 3 hole scope mounts. All I need now is a 30mm scope, whcih new mounts wouldnt be a problem. I'm looking into the Vortex Viper mil-dot scope and currently reviewing the Millet LRS-1. If I had a better rifle I'd just say screw it and get a Leupold MK4, which is under consideration still. But what would be a good mil-dot paralax scope for what I want to do for a good price?
