4 AnswersYahoo Answers8 years agoDetermining if our electric meter is the correct one?
Why have we got a problem with high bills. We live in a semi detached house, heated by a wood burning stove and radiator system.About 12 years ago we removed our storage heaters rendering our economy 7 redundant.Shortly afterwards we had a meter removed, we were assured this was for economy 7,i was not convinced. Our current meter gives two readings both of which our suppliers show on bills. It seems that we pay the first 900 kwh per annum at 24.03p on the first reading, and 11.15p on the second reading regardless of kwh consumed both plus vat.Surely we should have a single rate meter can anyone advise
