3 AnswersMovies7 years agoIf a Football match was being shown simultaneously on BBC One, ITV1 and Sky Sports, Which would you watch?
For me it's between Sky and BBC, The combination of Adrian Chiles and Clarke Carlisle really put me off ITV.
How about you?
3 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)7 years agoWould you like to see the match clock stop each time there is a stoppage in play in Football?
So everytime there is a Throw in, Corner, Penalty, Free kick, foul, Dive etc, the match clock would stop until the ball is live again.
It would replace the need for injury time and also would stop players diving to waste time, Taking too long over a free kick, Corner etc, i think it could really help the game but would it make it more boring to watch??
1 AnswerEnglish Football (Soccer)7 years agoWhy do Footballers always argue with the referee when they've been given a Red Card?
I mean obviously not 'always' but they do seem to argue with the decision about 80% of the time, when they know there is a 0% chance of the referee reversing his decision, Why do footballers behave in this petulant way?
Thanks

6 AnswersPolls & Surveys7 years agoAre you happy with the massive influx of non UK born footballers making their way into the England setup?
I am sat here watching the England vs Lithuania U21 match, It's being shown free on BT Sport right now if anyone is interested, And it leaves me wondering what it means to be English nowadays, and what exactly qualifies a person to play for England? i know the rule is, they must of had 5 years education in England, before the age of 18, but is this enough to make someone truly English?
Nathaniel Chalobah - Born in Seirra Leone, although he has been at Chelsea since Youth Level.
Saido Berahino - Born in Burundii, not moving to England until he was 10 years old!
Wilfried Zaha - Born in the Ivory Coast, moved to England at 4 years old.
In the first team we have
Raheem Sterling - Born in Jamaica, Moved to England at 5 years old and couldn't represent England until 2009.
Danny Welbeck - Both his parents are Ghanian, although he has lived in England all his life.
We then have news reports recently claiming Adnan Januzaj could play for England, despite only moving here at 16 years old, and not having 5 years education under the age of 18 in England.
And then as we look to the future, with the huge amount of Polish and other nationalities residing here under EU law, could we see names such as 'Jakub Błaszczykowski' lining up for England in the future.
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a race issue, It's an identity issue, What does it mean to be English? When does a footballer become English, where is the line?
Are you happy with the way international football is going right now?

3 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoHow long before the first Billion Pound Footballer?
With the World record Transfer fee going up and up and up, and Inflation doing the same thing, How long will it be before the World's first Billion pound Footballer
The first Million Pound footballer was of course Trevor Francis in 1979 When he joined Nottingham for just over 1 Million pounds.
When Zidane moved to Real Madrid from Juventus, the fee was believed to be around 48 Million, then ten years Later, when Ronaldo joined Real Madrid, the highest ever transfer fee was now 80 Million or so.
Now Bale looks set to go to Real Madrid for a fee of 115 Million Euros (£100,000,000)

6 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoWho in your Opinion are the 5 Greatest Retired Footballers of all time?
Please don't include Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta etc, choose 5 retired players, don't have to be in order, and there is no right or wrong answer, so i won't be thumbing anyone down, even if you put Heskey Lol, but please do be serious with your answers, Thanks :)
8 AnswersEnglish Football (Soccer)8 years agoIf the SPL was incorporated into the Premier League in this coming season, Where would these teams finish?
Hypothetically of course, i understand you can't just place teams into a top division, they'd have to start at the bottom if they wanted to join, goes without saying, but lets say, if these teams joined, Where would they finish?
Celtic
Hearts
Motherwell
Ross County
So the premier league would become a 24 team league, Where would those teams be expected to finish??
